Hey all. Got an issue with my laptop and may need to re-install my OS. I have the 2.6gb file for Tyrannis on a thumb drive at the moment. I did upgrade to Incursion but didnt save the 20meg file and install software.
My question is if I wipe and reinstall my OS, can I install Tyrannis and get the Incursion patch/upgrade automatically as if it were the original rollout date, or do I need to D/L the entire new Incursion 2.6gb file?
I am unable to d/l the full Incursion file as my bandwidth is extremely limited. My isp throttles at 40 megs d/l and shuts me off at 500 megs.

Hello Melkath Bandrom,
You should be able to install the Tyrannis client and update it to Incursion 1.0.0 without having to re-download the full client.

Ok Cool. Got it done. Thanks! Any chance you can tell us what the next rollout file size will be? I hope its not more then 500 megs. I've been lucky with the previous expansions. It sucks having limited bandwidth but its all I have til I get home in mid January. |
