Why on earth would you stop your skill que on tranquility? And who said that you will have to spend the entire time on Sisi? You just log in, set your skill on Sisi, go back to tq and do whatever you want then log in to Sisi and try out the system. |

Why would taking part in this mass-test interfere with your business on Tranquility? nobody asks you to stop your learning queue on tq - and imo extra SP on sisi can be useful to decide which skills to train next on tq (always try before buy ;) - if not having each skill at lvl V is frustrating to you, you have to play EVE in a constant state of denial as is... |

It is on the test server you are supposed to set this skill, not on TQ. |

I just logged on Sisi and started training Starbase Defense Management V... Should last long enough :D
Side note : the new Sisi Launcher is impressive ! All is automated now, no more creating shortcuts with custom parameters and so on - so everybody should be able to log on Singularity.
P.S. : Yay ! Noctis to redeem ! Thanks, I wanted to give it a try :) |

So when the the change happens on TQ on the 14th..do ppl who help now with this get 5m extra on TQ or do we just get it now on Sisi to test around with?
Good! Just log into Singularity, set a skill queue that lasts till at least Friday 01.30 GMT. When you then log in on Saturday, check if all your skill points were reimbursed as expected. If they weren’t, file a bug-report. Having done that, spend your newly available skill points we’ve given you on Singularity into whatever your heart desires and enjoy the weekend, (((((knowing that the same will soon happen on Tranquility thanks to your help!)))))))) |

Setting a skill on Singularity does not affect anything on Tranquility. Singularity is a "copy" of Tranquility, which runs totally indepdentently. So nothing you do on Singularity will have any effect on Tranquility. As others mention, this is a very small thing we're asking everybody to do. It's literally a couple of minutes of work |

Wat? Who on earth told you to do that? Quote: We can't interact with our Corp's Can't make any transactions or actions that have to do with the real server
Waaat? What the hell you're talking about, dude? Singularity is absolutely parallel to Tranquility. Nothing you do on it would impact you on TQ (well, as long as you're not being an idiot and not breaking SiSi rules, which, when fairly relaxing, have a few explicit denial statememnts you MUST obey to.) Quote: and then in 3 weeks it goes away.
You concerned? Quote: It's actually going to provide more frustration
Actually, it's you providing frustration. If it's hard for you to understand the concept of a test server, don't visit this forum any more, thanks. |

Originally by: Assaj Ventress So these 5m SP won't survive sisi mirrors as other mass testing 2m sp gifts did?
Those skill points survived because the Mass Test Master CCP Habakuk manually gave them out again after the mirror. He did this because the mirror was so close to the last mass test (only a few days after) and because he's an all around nice guy. I'm not so nice and think about a month is plenty of time to play around with new skills and ship types on Singularity you don't have the skills for on TQ. Remember, if you have all learning skills a V and participate in this mass test you will end up with over 10 million skill points to apply as you like on Singularity. Sounds like a sweet deal to me for only a few minutes work. Even if it only lasts for a few weeks. |

Will a paused skill queue qualify?
I'd like to test the case where I have a learning skill in a paused skill queue at 1:30 on Friday, but I'd prefer not to lose out on the 5m SP. |

Notes for Mac users. 1) The autoupdate does not work. 2) The SiSi full client download delivers (at least to me) a damaged DMG archive that cannot be opened. 3) The instructions on how to make a SiSi client in the stickied thread point to a page on the wiki with no Mac-specific info. 4) The correct way to get this running on the Mac is to make a copy of your current TQ app and preferences, then edit the Info.plist in the package to point to both the new preferences file and add the key/value pair that tells the client to talk to SiSi, as documented on this wiki page. 5) Mac users should get 10m SP instead of 5 to compensate for the extra aggravation. |

Starting my queue now, but!
I have one quick question for you since I am confused by this reimbursement process. By having us set a long skill, do you intend to put our reimbursed skillpoints into the active skill in the queue?
I was under the impression that this reimbursement would happen as it has in the past: We receive X amount of SP from CCP which we can then apply to whatever skills we like in whatever amounts we like. But this process seems like you want to plug our reimbursed SP directly into our skill queue? Seems odd; I would appreciate it if you would clear up this little detail. |

Skill set :)
Idle question, for someone with pretty much all non capital combat skills trained, how many SP are needed to fly a poorly fitted titan? Will the 10 million SP I'll get this weekend suffice? Any hint how to spend those SP to get to fly a titan? |

But what do I get? Beyond the fact you of course will be getting the SP you have invested in learning skill back, we will running on the same principle as mass tests do. You help out, you get extra skill points on Singularity to use!
Sweet, count me in. Edit - just noticed the Singularity part, nvm. |

the SP reward willl be on the char with training active i suppose ? others char on account won't get it, so we have to activate the skills queue on the char we want free SPs ?
also did you though about trying to set up a skill which will finish DURING the DT on sisi to try to break things ? |

Whatever you wish. Some are setting learning skills simply to see if it breaks the system. |

I guess the last mirror happened when i was still pretty new, so I really went back a few steps. gotta go nab me some skillbooks to actually train! **EDIT** oh I guess I was just being dumb, I forgot to uncheck my "skills that fit" checkbox... hehe but is there another way to open singularity than from the link here? because I didn't see any programs installed and I know no other way |
