Wow, there really are some bitter frogs out there.......

For your information, frogs are not bitter they taste like chicken.

Falcon Alts taste like 12 year olds.

Reported for using the forums to promote and/or discuss child abuse. For the record I fly entirely Gallente and Minmatar ships in PvP.

Posting in a terribad thread about FOTM ewar.
I'll just keep having fun with my sensor damp/tracking disruptor Sentinel that locks people down better than my coin-toss Falcon ever could.
Tbh only thing wrong with ewar is the uselessness of target painting, fix it plox.

This thread is now about how to fix target painters.

Narissa is on the mark. Falcons and the other ECM heavy ships are reasonably fragile (and they do get sniped). While a careful falcon pilot is fairly safe from death, they can be driven from the fight by the appropriate use of support ships. Long and short OP; if you are getting abused by ECM, get some pals to support you or stay docked.

Oh, your other post indicated that ECM was not "fun" for the pilot. I know at least a couple pilots that seem to like it and fly ECM regularly. I don't consider mining fun so I don't do it; invoking a personal opinion regarding the "un-funness" (not sure that's a word) of a game mechanic as a reason to ban/nerf is laughable.

You might consider sacrificing a mid for a damp to counter the single ewar threat. If you get jammed consider deagressing or warping to a celestial and back into the fight. You want to kill ewar use drones, smart bombs or sniper fit.

As a blackbird pilot, these are the counters that frustrate me.

LOL! That much rage over a T1 fit Vexor?

What would have happened if he had lost a mega? or domi?
He'd probably be creating accounts with the sole purpose of spamming the forums.

Please leave Eve since you have nothing contructive to add.

ECM is very effective sometimes. And then other times it's a complete waste of time other then giving the enemy somthing to shoot at first.

spider tanking in a scorpion with ECM bursts

OP: if you think ECM is overpowered, then use it to your advantage. If pwning noobs is boring, go play another game. I like my ECM just the way it is.

I don't know about removed entirely, but I think it should only break locks - not prevent them from being reapplied. For optimal EW, you'd need both a lock breaker and a sensor dampener.

It is boring and overpowered, and everyone knows it. Now that learning skills have been dispelled, the next most bland, dull, and horrible is ECM. Remove it.

Look at the vagabond pilot from that kill. there's some mail doctoring going on I'd say.

Just make it reduce the total number of targetable targets and make it subjectable to stacking penalties. Then, it would still reduce incoming DPS but it wouldn't be a "get out of jail free" card.
