So i get out of wormholes lately and ventured into lo-sec.
Number of macros is overwhelming.
I guess CCP wont ban them becuase ???
a) they dont care since marcos pay with plexes.
b) most of manpower is moved to make dust so no one to take care of them in EVE.
c) If they ban them it would it apparent the (normal) subscriber base is getting smaller due to the last two failed expansions in a row + lag.
d) they gather intel so they can ban them all at once .
e) i am trolling, there are no macros in EVE
f) other
?

I only use one Macro, the one that logs a char in at server up, flys the char out to a safe spot in a low sec system where people are mining, then Cloaks me AFK while I am at work.

a) they do care because macros put extra stress on server loadb) Dust team is based in China afaik. and it's a separate team from EVE online (for the 100th time ) c) solving lag problems + one more "Unholy Rage" would bring a lot of old players (used as a marketing trick ofc) d) maybe... see "c)" e) you are trolling, but there are macros in eve f) other? |

The rest i agree but here is where you are right and wrong at the same time b) Dust team is based in China afaik. and it's a separate team from EVE online (for the 100th time ) Indeed it's a separate team , but it deosnt mean resources aren't pulled over from EVE to this seperate team. btw , hope they finish dust soon , we want to play EVE. |

A combination of D) and "players don't notice recent bans" most likely.
As for any other comments ?

Actually, I occasionally see threads pop up here and there which show the results of CCP's anti-macro agenda. Every couple months, I see several threads about how macros have suddenly and mysteriously disappeared from multiple systems. Players do notice the effect of bans - it's just that players quickly forget this and then claim that CCP is doing nothing. |

Well if that´s true it should be easy to link us to those posts? And I don't mean the "macros who sell ISK for RL money" ones, that's a small minority. |

Petitioned a bunch of macro miners the other day and within 24 hours the system was empty. Got a generic petition response with "they have been reported before" tacked onto the end. |
