You are giving us pepsi cans, styrofoam plates, rubberbands, and firecrackers and telling us you want us to build you a warship.

And AFAIK once a rat is firing it dont switch targets unless the current target becomes invalid. At least not the 0.0 rats i encounter. But even if that were the case, you use your tanking ship to lure the rats 75-100 KM from the belt and orbit it. Thus if they were to switch targets you have 3 days to warp the miners out.

I am really wanting to call troll here. A logical person would say :
* I cant mine if i cant keep rats off me
* i only have one alt that i can really use for this.
* The alt is not good enough to keep me safe.
= sacrificing my primary focus for a week or or two is really going to pay off in the long run.

This is eve you cant win it in a year so i would suggest you quit rushing to become the Rockefeller of Eve and take the time to set yourself up properly.

Or you can go about it in the idiotic fashion and use the ore you mine to keep replacing your guarding ships because you dont want to put a bit of effort into protecting your income source.

Most carebears dont make sense to me...and then some just totally blow my mind.*facepalm*

Sigh. I didn't ask anyone to specify 'a ship' for me. I asked which BATTLESHIP would be best. Even if every BS in the game is unsuitable, I suspect one is less unsuitable than the rest.

Now wouldn't it irritate you if I told you what ship you should use to do what you do, whatever that is?

Maybe you fail to understand what people are doing here?

When 99/100 people think something is stupid, it might just be. And in this case, people are trying to correct your idiocy by pointing out that somebody that hasn't broken 4mil SP will not be able to fly a battleship with any amount of effectiveness. And that if all you're doing is keeping rats off of miners, a battleship would actually be overkill.

You are not so superior to all of these veteran players that you can be the exception to a metaphysical impossibility.
