Hi,
I recently noticed lots of EVE Online advertisements on the web sites I visit. It's pretty obvious that it's not some sort of massive CCP marketing campaign but rather a shameless act of spying my internet preferences.
I would like to know what's the *exact* technology behind this. I have two types: 1) cookies 2) google/gmail
Does anyone know how the mentioned banners work, and how to prevent it from "spying"? |

Thanks, but my goal is to identify the problem, not just to apply workaround. I just really want to know how do they spy on me and who is guilty :-) |
