Do you want kills like this? http://valor.truthonly.com/kb/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=9460

Or this? http://valor.truthonly.com/kb/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=8142

Or maybe this? http://valor.truthonly.com/kb/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=8270

Follow these steps to hunt your own mission runner!

1. You need a prober/looter. Think cheap, I use a heron with a salvager, MSE II, AB, and scan probes.

2. Learn probing. Check out CCP's official probing guide on their youtube channel, it's how I learned.

3. Use combat scanner probes in the 4-leaf clover or flower formation to identify scan for missioners. Any l3/l4 mission hub is a good target. You may have difficulty at first, but stay on it!

4. Once you have a target, bookmark him and warp in. Use your prober to loot and salvage to your content. If you aren't pvp oriented, stop here.

5. If you want to hunt, wait for them to shoot you. Warp back to the station and get your pvp ship. Any pvp BC/HAC will do nicely, avoid larger ships because they're too slow.

6. Warp back, shoot, loot, pop wreck, rinse, repeat.

Tips
-> Add their corp as a contact with bad standing to check for backup. I lost my first time because I didn't do this. You remove the corp as a contact after you're done.

-> If the mission has no gates, you may need to bookmark their real location. This way you can get into point range when you warp back.

-> Neuts and warp disrupts are your friend! Remember, never use a micro warp drive because most missions disallow them. Use a long reaching disruptor to snag em and your AB to move into range.

-> I prefer a hurricane because of the 2 neuts and selectable damage types.

OP, this is in no way new. There are multiple corps that specialize in doing this exact thing, and Suddenly Ninjas' older members have been doing this for years. In fact, there's tons of people -everywhere- who do this. Your kills aren't particularly amazing, either; there's plenty of faction/officer/deadspace-fit failboats floating around in hisec that've been taken down this way. My best was a 2-bil active-tanked drake.

That said..you've discovered a hilarious source of KMs, tears and money. Keep at it, you'll eventually hit the jackpot.

A chilling yarn there Broseph.

All kidding aside, interested parties should join our public chat; The Ninja Alliance. We have several kills a month of that value or higher and we're happy to advise any independents who want to chat.

Just to clear the air, MWDs work in at least 1/2 of mission spaces at present. In the very near future, they may work in EVERY mission space.

Very curious as to what fit you have on your hurricane? I'm planning on doing this after starting over on my EVE, I have a cane and most of the skills for a full T2 armor fit(I just prefer armor..) what's your fit my kind sir?

Pretty worthless guide that doesn't even mention the most important part -- how to get them to shoot at you. Very few bears will actually shoot, so you need some shenanigans 99.5% of the time. Mention drone aggro, can flipping, ninja baiting, suicide ganking, joining their corp, asking them to test your tank, etc.

Fitting

I know this is nothing new, but a lot of people don't know how to do it.

Thanks bro.

I'm gonna see how my armor buffer works out. Hopefully it won't disappoint, if it does with the skills I've invested into it I'll give the shield buffer a shot hehe.
