Gonna be in this in a few days. To clarify me and my friends run missions, my frined tanks in a Tengu and another DPS's in a BC, usually Drake or Hurricane, Im gonna be the primary DPS.

For missions? Meh.. Meta 4 is fine for pwning level 4 missions though they might not be the best for overall completion time. For pvp though? No barrage means you are a shiatty mach pilot.

You and your friends should bring remote shield rep drones. They help lots for this kind of stuff. Your tank might even be enough that way.

Not really. If your firend in the tengu is competant then you will never have to even pulse your shield booster once. As stated get to t2 asap for the fractional descrease in mission completion times.

looks pretty standard should work fine.

if you keep the speed up hardly need to use the booster, I ran a GE with a mach, with an xl II a ballstic II, and an invlun II. zoom zoom all over the place and they could barely touch me.

only thing I'd change is swap 1 hardener for a cap injector. and maybe drop the nano for another gyro, and the cccs for polycarbs

How I do things is that I have a friend with a Cap Transfer and I put a Cap Transfer on the empty high slot of the Mach. We then fit as many Shield Maintenance Drones into our drone bay while having enough space for light drones. We do Cap Transfer to help manage our shield boosters when we need it and have the shield drones rep us, reducing the amount of time that we need to use the shield booster.

By doing this we barely every need to use our shield boosters very much and we need ran out of cap.

I would loose the third tracking enhancer, its adding only a few kilometers at most. I dropped the second one on my Vargur and went with a DCU for a little extra tank and some added anti-gank insurance (not that I run that much faction modules). suggest swapping the nanofiber II for a meta 4, its 5% less penalty to hitpoint loss (I hate nanofibers, find I like I-stabs better Shocked).

i use atm a bit different setup:

7x 800mm t2 AC
heavy nos

Core x-type AB (coz i had one just sitting in a can)
3x t2 tracking computers
TS heavy inj (hardly ever even need to use it)

amarr navy large repper
Amarr navy EAN
2x hardeners
DCU t2
2x Rep fleet gyro

Falloff rig
2x rep ammount rigs.

tank is enough to tank full agro of gurista stage in WC (havent got AE so cant comment on that bonus stage yet)

i like to armor tank even tho i have verynice shield tank skills.

im thinking of dropping one tracking computer for a faction web and DCU or ean for one more gyro.

it works.. but you need to be carefull with webbers :D as its still "speed" tanking.

i do missions in gallente space atm so cant comment if it works anywhere else.

Personally i like the 36km fall off, as i have space for the nano's, so i can zoom in close and kill rats, as as well as allow me to take out frigs before (usually) getting webbed.

For me: dps + speed > slower gun platform

I started with this fit and it works great solo in a group it will be quick mission city.

soo, you only mission when tengu is around to tank? I don't quite understand. Have you no standings for lvl 4 agents yet?

get a better sb(pith or gist xl) and drop nano for gyro and you're all good. mission spec. hards of course.

if using for sansha/blood I would swap to armor tank. em/therm natural res. are much better and works well, imho.

Honestly, thats about all the thought it needs. 7x800s, 4 gyro, 3 TE, booster + 3 hardener tank of whatever you can fit and an AB. T2 burst aerator for the finishing touch. I tend to use an autotargetter in the last high because you spend the entire time targetting otherwise ( and it adds to the ship's hard target limit ). Hell most of the time you can just use a shield buffer pvp fit.
