Probably isn't much different to a rabbit pastie - to quote my fiancee... I'm inclined to agree tbh |

My cat would love to. He's slaughtered entire families of squirrels. Slowly taking them out, one by one.
But i try to avoid eating rodents myself. |

Meh.. Meat is meat as long as you know how to enhance the flavor with the proper seasoning. Even cat is tasty with the right spices. |

You check out the new ai war in unity yet?
Hehehe, actually only a couple of days left till you will see me no moar on the forums till fw is fixed unless dust lets you whoor the eve forums too. And no I haven't been keeping up with ai wars because it makes me want to play for hours and hours on end one I get rolling into a game and I simply don't have the time for it so I don't check on the newest stuff and so make me sad I have no time to fully explore it. The upside is that me and a bunch of other bored retirees decided to start a nonprofit winterization program for old people who need their homes errrmmm.. winterized for the upcoming below freezing temps but alas have no extra capitol to actually get their home properly insulated or have a modern heating system istalled. So I am wielding both a hammer to get the actual physical work done and a pc/cell to whoor wholesale suppliers for reduced bulk prices or outright donations with the promise of media attention for such deeds. But trust this will all be done around january and then I will be back with a vengence.(literally if the rocket changes pan out) |

I live in the northeastern corner of Kentucky, USA.
I can tell you 80% of the people in the area (KY,OH,WV) probably would and/or have eaten squirrel.
I'm in the 20% unless I had to.
Had a nice conversation with a guy at work one day, he's about 70. He was tellin me about what they had to eat when they were young and he said they pretty much had to eat what they had available. Any meat they could get squirrel, possum, raccoon, elk, deer, etc. Only ones I know people still eat solidly is elk/deer, and rarely squirrel and/or rabbit. |

You could put rat meat in a pastie, and it'd still taste good.
That being said, I haven't actually tried farm grown rat meat, but I've heard good things about it.

I've eaten squirrel, it's actually quite good. However, you eat it mainly in stews and such, not by itself. |

watch your words zeba a couple years ago i thought about eating each animal from A to Z. Turned out that is not a particuarly tasty quest tbh. i would however, quite happily, kill and cook my own meat. except puppies, i like puppies. kittens can go in the pot though. f'ing neighbours ones that wake me up at 6am are first in the pot lol x |
