...JDO IV and train for carrier so i can fly it and then go JDO V and JDC IV?

Thats an extra 17 days added for JDO V in my training plan if i go for it first.

JDO to 5 first, then JDC & JFC to 4.

You do NOT want to start flying a carrier without JDC trained.

If you're in wormhole space, get the carrier skills first. If not, get the jumping skills to a proper level first.

Unless you know you'll never use it outside a certain system of course..

The carrier is worthless until your jump skills are trained (plus quite a number of other skills)

Yeah. JDO V first, then JDC and JFC to IV, then your cap shield skills, then your drone/fighter skills, then maybe start looking at the carrier skills (in other words, get all the other skills you'll need trained up first, so you don't start bopping around in an expensive ship that contributes little to the fight, and gets popped too easily).
