So, I'm unfortunately low on funds, and have to part with one of my slaves. I'm looking for a decent home for a young Vherokior female, must be able to pay, must be able to demonstate that they will take good care of her. Responds to Marisse or Kitty. Combat capable pilot, extremely loyal, sometimes requires a stern voice to keep disciplined.

For those interested please send me a galnet message or ping.

A capsuleer slave?

Gonna have to agree with the Sani Sabik here...the two terms are almost an oxymoron.

Curious question, not that I'm interested in buying of course.

Considering she's publicly been flashing her **** all over your bar for months and made no effort to hide the fact she's been getting railed by anyone who'll pay her enough Kredits for the "pleasure", will the prospective buyer get a discount?

After all, under SCC guidelines, that puts her in the category of used or damaged goods.

hmm, you make a good point, I've already had her cloned into a fresh body as a matter of course, however yes, she'd of course not be going for as much as a "true" virgin might.

Typically, Ethan, one pays a steep markup for a virgin pleasure slave.

Discounts for a prostitute otherwise only apply if the merchandise is literally damaged-- health or appearance ruined through disease and neglect, for instance.

I currently have my hands quite full with a particular Vherokior capsuleer slave.

I might be interested in taking on another. Please send me proof of ownership, her medical and education records and a price quote. Perhaps if my House does not adopt her, I can find her a good home here in Khanid.

Thank you.

Dear Sinjin,

don’t take her... She is talking in public without being asked, that is ill-mannered and audacious.

Love,

As there is no real way to keep a capsuleer a slave against their will, could I kindly ask that you keep your extreme lifestyle choices off the IGS, and not insult those in actual, real slavery with them?

I don't see it as being particularly insulting. Then again, I'm quite happy with my job and family. If Boss wants to pick up another, I'd be very happy to have a new sister, especially if she's Vherokior!

This soap opera continues to amuse.

See the facade of righteousness of the Amarr Orthodoxy crumble like a poorly baked biscuit that is not rigid enough to withstand being dunked in a nice cup of tea.

And if "Mistress" needs more money, why not just increase your rates, eh?

It remains amusingly laughable.

Hm. Are you quite sure about that, Ms. Rhiannon? It seems more like "very difficult" than "actually impossible," given some control over cloning conditions.

Then again, you've probably made more of a study of it than I have. Sansha's method is probably the only really foolproof one.

Then again, again, I'm pretty sure some theorist at CONCORD is responsible for coming up with a few dozen ways to tighten our collective leash if need be.

Meh. Not my business, really.

Perhaps if I kill off another of Sinjin's slaves he'll learn to keep a tighter leash on them.

Back on topic, Nikita, I might be interested in paying a small fee for the privilege of properly repaying Marisse for stabbing me repeatedly. She'll need a fresh body when I'm done.

Sinjin, if you do elect to take in this pitiful creature, bear in mind that I intend to harm her. And don't get quite as ****y about it this time.

Oh, and don't drop her more than a foot or two. She snaps like a twig if you do.

The sales pitch claims the individual is a combat pilot.
And as such, would be able to fire on their "mistress" and simply fly away and set themselves up somewhere far away, if they so felt.

Psychological conditioning is a wonderful thing. The best slaves are the ones that don't want to be freed.

I'd almost call this cute... If it wasn't a bit disturbing. How you get such loyalty out of an unpaid capsuleer is a bit beyond me.

I'd offer her a good home with my allies, but at the moment I'm a bit strapped for liquid capital.

I might come to regret it, but I have to ask what the story is behind the nickname "Kitty", in particular who's idea it was?

There really isn't much of one, I wanted something to call her, she was my pet, so I named her kitty.

Hm. Minds are always in motion, so conditioning might prove unreliable at the most inconvenient times.

Myself, I'd go (additionally) for heavy monitoring by a full specialized staff combined with some form of microexplosive, maybe something built directly into a cranial implant.

Foolproof? Maybe not. But even emergency transfer can't copy an infomorph from a sad little pile of scrambled eggs.

If I were to try such a thing.

That is exactly what I find offensive. If she chooses to be in slavery where every day she might simply choose otherwise, that is not slavery, that is... well. A lifestyle choice. A matter of religion. Whatever her motivations are.

No such control over cloning conditions for a capsuleer exist. The instant she is in the pod, she could easily have her emergency clone location moved and self-destruct. (I am sure a lot of organizations in free space would be willing to welcome her to her new body and new life, if she chose this path, and as a pilot, getting hold of her old property and even starting completely fresh should not be a very bad economical problem.)

In my experience, extortion for co-operation is a somewhat functional way: putting pressure on non-capsuleer relatives in slavery seems to be a particularly effective way on the short term. (If the victim in this thread is under such extortion, I apologize for my hard words, and please be in contact via private FTL, we can sort something out to help you.)

And alright, I give you the Sansha way. But you can usually spot a mindless drone from how they speak etc.

I am afraid I see the difference between "someone willingly subjugating to the leadership of another" and an actual slave against their will a bit more than semantics.
