Kinda what the title says i got a marauder stuck from over 1 year ago in a hostile 0.0 environment and the station is now in control by the hostile alliance.

Just wondering what's the best way to get it out or is my only option selling it on contract as it has quite a bit of gear on it as well.

Just want opinions please.

Thanks,
Flap

You could beg / pay the current owners to give you temp access and hope they dont gank you on the way out? Or do as you say and put it up on contract! I had a similar thing happen to me (it was only a myr though) and I just sold it on contract.

Get someone from that alliance to move it for you for a fee?

Personally I'd just have it permanently on contract until you get the price you want for it. It'll sell eventually.

Figure out the current highsec worth of the ship + mods + rigs, and do up a contract for that number or a little under. Travel there in a cloaky ship and spam your contract in local a few times. It'll move no problem.

I've always scoured contracts in every nullsec region I've lived in, and stuff moves as quickly as it gets posted.

You should be able to contract it remotely from your assets window, or remote-repackage it (if you don't mind loosing the rigs) and sell it on the market (assuming you have the skills to do so from range).

lol
CCP gave us the option "jump-clone". For what have you learned it? So this was a good chance to save your ship, otherwise is to skilled an extra trade special char to sell it, where ever u are.

Assuming they aren't camping you in the station 24/7, get an alt down there that can probe out a WH. Might take a few days but keep probing til you get a good WH that leads to low sec or maybe even NPC null sec with a station near by.

Might help if you can get your hands on a cloaking device, just in case you have to wait a bit in space.

edit.. NM, I thought you were also stuck in the station with the ship.

Just make an "stuck" petition and tell your story, it worked for me, GM allowed me to take 1 ship with me and he moved me to empire.

Thanks for this idea i might try that.
I just don't think faction fitted t2 bs will sell very easy in 0.0
And i tried the ALT suggestions but they disabled landing for non-alliance members.

It will sell very well if you are willing to take a loss on it.

In these situations you need to either be willing to wait a long time or bite the bullet and sell for under market. For a quick sale you need to make it worth someones while buying the thing and shipping to empire where they can sell for market value.

Sneaking an alt into a hostile alliance isn't exactly difficult now is it?

Just infiltrate them, contract the ship to your alt, take the valuable gear off it and put the ship up for sale.

There are many EZ ways in which the peeps have already told you, it will take time and work but hey is it worth your bil isk?

I dont care where it was at if there is an alliance there and you sell the ship cheap enough 15% Discount THEY WILL BUY IT no doubt. There top logi guy will pack it up in his JF and make a fast 100 mil on it and you wont get pop`d trying to sell it.

Option 2 is join them, like the other guys said. Alli`s are always looking for new members unless they the top 20 Alli`s in the game which prob isnt the case if its in the North Wink Try to join them, hell you may even like them and stay.

Option 3 there are tons of WH`s leading from Losec to 00 Sec etc.

Thanks for all the great suggestions.

In the end CCP helped me out because of "Special Circumstances" and it got fixed.

I will take all your ideas to hart for IF this ever happens again though.

Cheers,
Flap

GAH! You're kidding!!!! This is just horrible! CCP... remember how you were complaining of a "disconnect" you weren't aware existed? THIS IS PART OF IT! Your messing with the sandbox. Yeah... you helped one complaining person out... and you inappropriately removed opportunity from other people... special circumstances... Sandbox... consequences to actions... PFFT! Sounds like one more GM thinks we're playing in the kiddie pool instead of the sandbox.

Just one more inconsistency to attribute to GM's. Seriously... sometimes I think we'd be better off with no support than the inconsistent mess we have now.

Agreeing with this. Since when did we start helping out players with trapped assets? :CCP: Another step down the road to carebear land

Well .. not really. Really they were making an exception to deal with an inherant flaw in the game system. If you docked your ship there and a rival corp took the station, they should get insta-access to anything left behind to loot as they see fit anyhow. Why the hell wouldn't they?

"Oh hey.. look.. someone left behind a couple billion worth of war ships on Deck 4."
"Meh.. leave that alone, we don't have the keys to Deck 4. Lets move on and leave it there to gather dust."

Seriously??

CCP knows this is a silly situation, so they help out as best they can, I would guess.

Only they gave the ship back to the original owner, and not the pillagers. Rolling Eyes
