Heres my petition I just submitted.

"Hello again, nothing major here but I think I found a bug.

While I was creating a corporation for the first time, I created it with my corporation management skill at level 0, and was able to hold 50 members or so thats what it said in the corporation button.

I am now at level 2 and can only hold 20 members, So i'm assuming that the corporation management skill is only supposed to allow you to hold 10 members per skill level, and not 10 members per skill level plus the base 50, which I thought was the case.

So either A.) the corporation skill lvl is bugged to allow 50 members at 0 or B.) the corporation skill management skill is not adding onto the base 50 members allowed per level.

Thanks."

The skill states +10 per level.

Now its been awhile but if the base is 50 then with l2 it should be 70. But like i said its been awhile so i dont remeber if or what the base actually is.

Did you make sure to update corp details when you finished training each level?

yes. and after each skill, it stayed at 50 untill i created a new orp in which it reset to the normal, 10, 20 deviations.

when it was at 0, it was at 50, and it did not reset or get modified with any lvl of corporation management.

so, what im saying is that anyone who creates a corp with corp mangment at lvl 0 will have the max # of avaialable members slots.

and for the third time, yes, i hit the little update button.

im not that noobish, but i think those that cant find a big ass corp update button are.

Odd. I wasn't trying to call you nubbish just going through the basics since people are forgetful and some times its the little things that are the issue.

But as for the issue I would do a bug report on it.

Okay, calm down. Your wording was far from obvious the first two times. Shocked

If you take over a corp from someone else who already updated it with his (presumably) better skills previously, the corp will not "downgrade" if you try to update it with worse skills. So if you took over your CEO-ship from someone else, this would most likely be the case here.

Also: the various corporation skills only define the total level of possible corporation members possible within the corporation when you update with your details, they don't add on top of what's already there. If that would be possible, the introduction of the Sovereignty skill wouldn't have been necessaryWink.

So the key is to hire a character with perfect corporation skills to form corp - get members in then have him allocate roles and drop his own then leave.

Similiar mechanics to rig usage.

What part of why dont you say what you mean instead of relying on inference across cultural lines in a language that is obviously not the first language for either of us to you not understand?

Did you have the skill injected but not trained?

I try with the skill not injected and get "coroporation creation request denied"

KB

Edit: meh, even with skill injected but not trained I get rejected. Guessing op missed something. Bug not reproducible.

Hardly. i havent even gotten a formal warning for placing italic open and close tags in the middle of words. Works considerably better than using numbers.

Yeah, I had to train the skill up to create my first corp as well (this was in April 2009). I got the same type of error message when I tried without the skill. Evidently there was a time when you didn't have to have the skill trained to create your own corp. Either that or the OP is remembering wrong.
