OK they seems to be a slight problem with GM's on eve i don't have any problems with the GM,s but on this case i do.
So here goes the problem:
My friend's account was banned few years back after being caught buying isk for real cash, Yes i know noobish of him to do and he was banned and told if done again then he would probably face another ban but maybe be permanent. Now ever since this happened i have helped and also 2 more people helped him out and got him back on track with his isk and also got the stuff he needed so we helped him really well.
Now the account has been banned again due to another buying isk for real cash no before the account was banned i went into the account and checked, Now if am correct if that account bought isk wouldn't it show up on the wallet and if he tried hiding it that would also show up. So now my question is why is the account 6000mil in minus and yet it does not show anywhere on the wallet or anything on this mysterious 6000mil that it has been there. only thing that shows is me giving him 2000mil after major mining job i did ages ago with help of few people and saved up to help him and now all of a sudden 6000mil is on the account.
So not only have i wasted time to help him and get him where he needs to be the gm's are now claiming he bought isk when there is nothing saying on the account he did, So please help me with what is going on and why this is happening there is nothing of any sort of 6000mil going in or out of the wallet so please explain plus this is his only account so help me figure this out please.
Thank you |

You and friends giving him a few billion ISK is maybe suspicious.. but then your and friends accounts would be banned as well.. : / |

Your only option left here is file a petition and if you are not satisfied with the results have it escalated to a senior GM.
We, forum dwellers cannot help you any further then that.

I bet this is going to turn into another 20 page thread with a lot of "friends" where in the end some dev and a GM lay down the smack, disproving everything stated about said "friend". |

Well, that means he was heading for a ban regardless… …as for the wallet history, it only goes back so far. |

Account receives money from ISK mule alt. Alt account (trial) gets erased, your friend's account gets banned, ISK gets wiped. No trace. |

You can't transfer isk from a trial account character. |

Edited by: Cipher Jones on 05/09/2010 14:26:10 you said you logged into the account? You're lucky you didn't get banned also.
Secondly, he had 6 bil, he did it. You dont just give friends 6 bil.
Lastly, learn how to launder. I would never do it (launder ISK) for isk purchased by RMT, but scamming requires good skills at laundering. No, I won't post sensitive stuff like that on the forums.

The best thing for your friend is to submit a petition. The GMs will be able to discuss this with them. |

I can see why they banned his account..and what mining op did you do to earn 6 bill..lol.Id ban you too.Thats too much isk and makes it imposable to believe.1 or 2 bill would have been "helping him on his feet".6 bill is just way too much..be glad they didnt ban yours |

My understanding is that if you are caught buying isk, CCP reverses the "credit", and then debits the characters account for the same amount as was bought (or something to that effect). In other words, if you had say, 400 mil in your wallet and bought a billion isk, CCP would take away the billion and debit your wallet by another billion (leaving you 600 mil in the hole in this case). At least that is how it was explained to me last year by a friend who knew someone it had happened to (a close friend of his actually).
And remember, the GMs can see the transactions and determine where any isk came from, especially if the account has been flagged for previous violations. Also, they could be tracking suspected RMT accounts and when they see a character making a transaction (especially for huge amounts) with a suspected RMT account, it wouldn't take Rocket Science V to figure out what is happening.
(and I'm pretty sure the GMs have better things to do than run around randomly debiting characters accounts and then banning them for no reason)
Oh yeah, if in doubt, have your friend (not you) petition it.
