Not sure if this has been covered (so sue me for not wanting to read that many pages)
Is it possible to not have it run a new temp file (or w/e) every time? I have about 40 instances of "allow access" on my firewall because every time it makes a new temp file to run my firewall thinks it's a new program. |

Hi, i need the registry key for the TQ installation directory please, so the launcher stops asking me for it everytime. and if there is a way to not create another instance of sisi-launcher in the temp directory, so the application firewall does not always ask if i want to grant access, that would be great too ;)
and please don't tell me to reinstall eve because i have removed it from steam and just need the registry key so the launcher finds it, many thanks :) |

Sisi is fail.
The last Sisi patch doesn't work. There are apparently 3 patches since last night, judging by the release notes patch number.
It is becoming too hard to test anything. |

Re DL the 7 GB patch for the Hotfix to the Previous fail patch that failed due to incompetent coding of Paid employees that posted the first hotfix that makes you DL yet another fail 7GB patch. After how many years of experimenting with patches.... when will you guys ever learn to function.

Er, delete C:\Program Files\CCP\Singularity or wherever your Sisi install is? The launcher itself is ~5.3mb. Perhaps check your temp directories don't have something huge in them? And the recycle bin?? |

Just getting incompatible build as well. Does seem that this tool is making the situation worse rather than better now. |

Slightly offtopic, does the new instance of the Sisi client made by this tool 'share' folders with the main TQ client?
[I ask only because yesterday's patch completely screwed my TQ client (modification/corruption of 7 files in my lib/bin folders) resulting in an inoperable client and a repair tool that kept returning an Invalid Argument. So after hunting around for a quick fix (due to limited bandwidth and an expected 12 hours to download a full client) I thought 'I'll just copy the corrupted files over from the Sisi client and then maybe the repair tool can fix it from there'....but the folders aren't in my Sisi directory at all. The missing folders were: bin, bulkdata, databulk, lib, res and script (yes the actual folders not singular files, they're all still there)
In frustration I attempted to open Sisi client and was told there was a new 3.9 gig build available, decided not to bother and checked my Sisi directory again. In a last ditch attempt,I ran the repair tool from here and it's now downloading a 2.4gig repair, and says that the folder names I listed above are all missing and being downloaded.Won't be able to tell if it's fixed all clients for another 5 hours however so was wondering if 'sharing' was indeed the case, gotta love Australian broadband and its 80KB/s.] |

I know this question has been asked but I am not sure that anyone has answered it. I have "updated" my sisi client using the launcher and when i attempt to log in it says "Incompatible (Protocol)". Has anyone else had this issue or is it specific to me? Maybe I should skip the launcher and do everything manually again?

Further messing around tells me that currently sisi launcher is changing you to version 246350, even downgrading you if you've manually patched it up.
Having patched it to 246918 again, how do I alter the shortcut to make if got to sisi instead of tranquillity?. |

Nice to see support for Duality in the SisiLuncher. I noticed one thing though, the application wasn't smart enough to copy the existing TQ folder as a starting point so it started the full 4GB download. |
