ok so i was doing an NPC mission and searching for a Gravometric signature. i found one and got the probes as close as i could. and i mean it read as 99%. so now my next question is, how do i actually warp to this location? i tried right clicking in the scan and it just kept giving me options to ignore the results and such. one probe scanned close within 66,000km how much closer do i have to get? |

You need to scan a signal to 100% or you cannot warp to it. Once you get it to 100% you can either directly warp to it or bookmark it for further reference.
If you managed to scan it to 99% either your probes are a little out of position (try jiggling them a little) or you need higher probe strength to get a lock on the signal. The ship type, rigs, skills, sisters probes, sisters launchers and virtue implant set can all help to get you increase your scan strength. |

Need at least four probes to get 100% lock, unless you in a w-space scanning anomalies, those only need one probe to lock down.
I have had the need a few times to use six probes to get a C6 WH to go green, but I have not tried in a long while and I have raised my skills a little since scanning changed. |

If you are using a diamond pattern, try a tetrahedron pattern (one directly above, three below in a triangle). Only use the tetrahedron pattern when you are trying to get that last few percent, as it is a pain to use a tetrahedron for general scanning. A probing ship; Magnate, Heron, Imicus, Probe; helps a lot (as do gravity capacitor rigs and sisters probes if you have ISK). |
