One thing worth mentioning is that PvE tanking is more about endurance than EHP. With a proper setup you should just be repairing the first half of your shield or armor over and over, so anything past that is wasted. Armor plates and shield extenders on PvE fittings make the baby jesus cry.
If you find yourself having to warp out of missions it might be a good idea to switch out some damage modules for better cap stability or resists. Not only will you finish the missions faster without having to warp out, you'll lose less ships. |

This guide is like the official documentation that CCP never made. Highly recommended, had this existed when I started it would have saved so much time looking for information on sometimes dubious websites.. The authors ought to get a few lifetime subscriptions from CCP if nothing else  |

I am impressed. Really impressed. I've only skimed it for a minute now, and this thing is pure gold for newbies. Heck, I've played for years, and I expect to learn a number of things from the guide.

Dear CCP
I'd be a bit surprised if the publishers of the guide denied you the right to sticky it on the new citizens forum. Probably the only thing they'd want would be a link (which would be wise, as it would allow access to latest version)...
Or heck, BUY IT from them.

Great work, it makes me wonder why CCP never did this, i mean alot of the new players would probably have stayed longer in the game with a good guide like this.
But then again, Eve has got a great community and eve-search is your friend.

The English is a bit rough in some areas but as I understand it's a translation. It's a quality guide for sure.
Honestly whoever wrote that could probably have it printed up and actually sell hardcopies as long as he kept the PDF version free so people know what they're getting. |

There are some translation issues on some pages, and some grammar errors or what have you. Overall, this guide is amazing! I learned lots of stuff about things I never even planned on reading about!
CCP: Give these people some money and make an improved version of this in paper format! Sell it at stores across the world! This thing is amazing! |
