(Post Remade)

Hi
I realised that i might been to vague what i was asking about - so i try rewrite it.

What im looking for - is a FIT - preferly BS class - which sole purpose are to function as a Healer/Repper ship during GM Events (currently the sansha invasions). - Thus its "only" enemy are sansha ships.

The required skills (Repping/PG/CPU/CAP) will by then - NOT be a problem. The ship can be any of the Amarr/Caldari or Gallante types.
It should have Shield, Armor and Hull repairing (all 3) - modules and drones can be used in any combination.
It must be cap stable.
It must be able to be tanked enough to move inbetween player ships, "Repping" while taking fire from the Sansha ships. (Wither its Active or Passive tanking, or its Shield or Armor - isnt importent)
It should be able to "work" as many ships as possible at same time (but doing it properly).

Hope this post are more clear.

For missions it's pretty simple. Grab as much of the appropriate(armor/shield/cap) transfer power your capacitor can keep up with.

As for PvP, this fit's pretty nice(geared towards low SP characters):

[Exequror, Gang Support low skills cheap ECCM]
Reactor Control Unit I
Reactor Control Unit I
Reactor Control Unit I

Large F-S9 Regolith Shield Induction
Medium F-RX Prototype I Capacitor Boost, Cap Booster 800
Conjunctive Magnetometric ECCM Scanning Array I
Y-S8 Hydrocarbon I Afterburners

Medium 'Arup' I Remote Bulwark Reconstruction
Medium 'Arup' I Remote Bulwark Reconstruction
Medium 'Arup' I Remote Bulwark Reconstruction
Small 'Solace' I Remote Bulwark Reconstruction

Medium Anti-EM Screen Reinforcer I
Medium Anti-Thermal Screen Reinforcer I
Medium Anti-Kinetic Screen Reinforcer I

1) logistics- Eves version of a "healer"

2) If people are warping to station they are going to probably dock up click repair and go back out and fight. it instant refills both shields and cap completely for free . All they pay for is armor and hull.

3)reppers have crap range. You use logistics for better range/less cap usage.
Examples using a basilisk:
large meta 4 shield transporter:8400 m range ( over 70km with a basilisk)and 280 activation(53 on a basilisk) and reps 384
large meta 4 cap transfer: 9k range( over 75km with basilisk) and 338 activation(63 on a basilisk) and reps 324

Hence on a bonused ship using the buddy system 1 cap transfer will run 5 reppers which leaves mids/lows/rigs pretty much free for tank Plus it gets a bonus to rep bots. take a scorpion as a comparision. You are stuck in a much slower ship witha much shorter range and to run 5 meta 4 shield transporters you need to fill your rigs with CCCs, your mids with t2 cap rechargers, and power relay t2 in your low. leaving you 3 slots.

Also their is a question of how much use your going to be in a fight like that. As i said repping people at the dock( even if you pick the right dock as most high sec systems have many) is going to be mute unless they are just that cheap. they are going to dock click repair and head back out. Using an unbonused ship your going to need to use a tier 1 BS to really be effective. in a fight its going to be to slow to run around and rep people on the battlefield randomly plus your either going to have to go with fewer reppers( like one of each) and more tank which is going to further reduce its use. Or your going to have to go with more reppers and less tank.

You could also use the t1 version of the logi ship such as the osprey. You can get 50 km range on transporters. two run 2 large transporters you would need to fill rigs with cccs and lows with power relays. this leaves you with 4 mids( minus 1 for an ab/mwd) for tank.

If you want to "heal" people your best bet is to learn to fly logistics( both armor and shield) and join a pvp and/or null sec corp/alliance that utilizes logis in their gang. And you might want to look at carriers as a long term goal

Fooling around in EFT i came up with this build - suggestions/improvements welcome.
(The cap is stable at 40% - with all reppers etc active. Its only if i use all modules at same time, im dropping to 1 min cap)

Range is the only problem that it has - and i figure i be sending out the shield drones to keep the victim alive until im close enuff to start armor/hull repping

Apocalypse Navy Issue Battleship

[Drones]

Some stats from EFT - using my own skills as they "will be"
Effective Hps: 67.338

Resistences
Shield: EM: 12,5 - Thermal: 30 - Kinetic: 47,5 - Explosive: 56,3
Armor: EM: 80,9 - Thermal: 44.8 - Kinetic: 36,3 - Explosive: 32

PG: 6380 / 26906,25

Speed: 113 m/s - w MWD: 679 m/s

Added:
Replacing the T2's with T1 M4 allows the build to run 5 Large Armor Reppers, and 2 Large Shield Transporters, instead of 7 armor repper's.

You do realise you run a significant risk of getting ganked doing something like this right?

Lots of people come to these events, lots of corps, some of whom will doubtless be at war with other corps there.

You rep the wrong person and all of a sudden you're a legal target and boom, one dead good samaritan.

Good point :|

(added) - Actually even using T1 M4's the entire thing only costs 120 mio, which makes it a cheaper build then a "true" logistics.

Apoc Navy= 480 mil plus
Guardian = 100 mil- ish.

your setup is pushing on the cost of a non fitted carrier. For the Apoc alone you could buy and fit 3 guardians. Use a bloody logi FFS. That is what they are for.

***s, my bad - didnt notice EFT didnt have the actualy price of the Navy Apoc, just the modules.. a reg apoc can do the same job thow, just runs out of cap after 1 min with everything running :| - and still more expensive then a Logi. (190 mio w it all)

Hm - Guardian or Basilisk - still gonna have a range problem for some of the modules. hmpf..

Furthermore, logistics ships get bonuses to range cap use, and fitting of repping modules.

If you want to rep, you really want to be flying one of these. My Basilisk, with only Logistics at level TWO, is cap stable with 6 medium shield transfer array II's on it, and a large shield booster for myself, permarunning. If I had Logistics at level 4 or 5, I'm sure I could fit a couple large shield transfer arrays and still be cap stable.

Don't bother with hull-repping modules. If someone's in hull, you can still save them by repping their shields or armor.

Think of it this way, both the Guardian and Basilisk are good. Both get the same bonus to capacitor transfer modules. So, with a Basilisk, you rep shield tankers' shields and you give armor tankers cap so they can run their own armor repping modules. If you're in a Guardian, you rep armor tankers' armor, and you give shield tankers cap so they can rep their own shields more.

Domi? Just an idea... Passive tanked takes 682 dps vs sansha 714 uniform about 900 uniform with 2x invuln II's. Not the fastest ship in the fleet... You can pull one hardener for a 100mn MWD and still tank over 466dps. Fit some hammer II's and warrioir II's for some offense.. Not the best logi ship out there, but fairly cheap. You can also pull this off with an Ishtar with a passive tank fit, or a normal PvP fit as they have similar drone bays. A vexxor can fit 2 flights of medium repair drones also... IDK just some ideas, not sure if I would do it though.

EFT only quotes gear that is available on the market. Thus the only faction gear it will quote is ammo. faction mods and ships can only be bought through contracts so it does not give a price.

Also EFT is a very rough guess. Market prices may very greatly. For instance, EFT told me a guardian cost 100 mil. But i was logged in the game at the time and the local market, which does NOT include Jita or Amarr had them at 96 mil. For a setup guardian your look at 130-175 mil depending on the mods you use/where you buy. Meta 4 RRs are quite expensive as armor repping and guardians are very heavily used. Basilisk are cheaper to setup but not as useful.
