Orca's ore hold needs to be able to carry minerals as well.

Also, it's a Caldari-origin ship IIRC, what do you expect it to look like?

What do you expect from a big dumper truck?

It's supposed to be a big cargo container with engines. It looks like a big cargo container with engines. It's one of the best designed ships in the game from a visual aspect IMHO. It's exactly what I'd imagine an interstellar cargo ship to look like. If you want to redesign something, redesign minmatar ships except for the rifter and hurricane.

Leave my Orca alone it looks perfect.

The Orca needs 5 high slots. 3 for the links, 1 each for a tractor beam and a salvager.

Otherwise it is just fine.

Orca is one of the most believeable spaceship designs in my opinion. In comparison to ships like the megathron, raven and such which don't really resemble that of a realistic design, but aesthetics (even though the raven is ugly).

you have to admit though that the Rorqual looks better.

That looks more like a giant mobile industrial facility next to a giant cargo container.

Oh wait...

I don't like the look of the Abaddon. Its thick and stumpy looking.

Let me review my paperwork here... I think I might be contractually obligated to say something....

Nope. Your mum needn't be ridiculed though I still have full rights.

All Ore ships, including the Orca, look great as their design is very specific. Every aspect of the designs seem to have a logical purpose.

Fail troll is fail.

Seriously, the Orca is probably one of (if not THE) best designed ships in the game. From stats and bonuses, to looks, it has it all.

Devs shot that down in flames when it was mentioned. Apparently having 50km3 unscannable cargo space for hauling your morphite around high sec didn't set too well with them.Razz

Thanks for not upsetting mother, she takes everything to heart when it comes to people talking about her on the internet.

Anyway. I think the Orca looks fine the way it is. It reminds me alot of the carriers from the Wing Commander series. But who knows what the art team that redesigned the Scorp is going to change next?

Really? Then they should make it scannable. It's an ore hold; I doubt people are moving contraband or PLEX in it, so I don't forsee too much opposition Rolling Eyes Besides, if I had 50,000 m3 of morphite to haul I suspect I'd be able to afford a jump freighter to move it with.

Yes and if you had 74 Plex's you could afford a Cov-Op's to carry it. People are stupid

+1 For scannable ORE hold.

That would require a different scanner to be made and seeded into the game which would end up only working on ships with ore bays so I doubt it will ever get implimented. And you can't use a jump drive in high sec to go to another high sec system. Wink

Right, because there are SO MANY real spaceship designs to base them off of. I mean there is space shuttle AND there's rocket. A plethora of real choices abound.

I think it looks appropriate.
I mean do you see any good looking industrial factories.

It's not meant to win a beauty contest its meant boost Miners and haul rocks!
