Sometimes I think I'm the only person who still doesn't use facebook.  Then I remember the starving kids in africa and feel better because they are way more antisocial than me. They can't even troll the eve forums!  |

Don't worry, you aren't really missing out. But it's handy with the updates on the Facebook page that gives info about new dev blogs / etc. But not about Twitter updates. Can hide it, but jeez it's stupid to even add it in the first place. |

CCP Quell is looking into how the twitter stuff is showing up on the page. We're not sure what the deal is right now since there doesn't appear to be a way to turn it off but that we'll be nixing it as soon as we do. |

It should be under application permissions. Remove twitter's facebook application permissions to post status updates. |

If you manage to turn off fleet fights I don't thick that turning off twitter stuff should be problem. I mean while you are on fire you should turn server off so we can get done wit it. At least there shouldn't be any more lag |

Had a peek myself and it corresponded with spam I received on my personal FB as well with a different page (okay, it's icanhadcheeseburger. you can make fun of me all you want, but lolcats rule and is what makes the innerwebs, not tubes!). We don't have the RSS Graffiti application installed, and don't use a third-party tool to update our page. My assessment is that something occurred with the RSS Graffiti app that affected a myriad of pages that don't use it.
We'll keep an eye on things. |
