You have it backwards. They need to get behind the community if they want the community behind them. Something about their financial forecasts indicating it's better to go chase after a new player base than taking care of their current player base seems to chafe peoples you-know-whats.... So much in Eve needs fixed that WAS WORKING A YEAR AGO, so many suggestions they so desperately wanted to hear from the CSM getting thrown on the backburner... I'd have voted Eve best game... 10months ago. Now? Combined with their attitude of 'we really do care!' (just not enough to dedicate the proper resources to fix it) lol thread is lol. It stings to read this stuff and I don't even work at CCP. But as a wise man once said, sometimes, THE TRUTH HURTS |

I feel bad for CCP... many of these comment must hurt... but the truth can do that some times.
I voted for EvE cuz I love the game...
But the lag, bugs, and the whole taking over alliances thing.
CCP, the people demand something, and they feel your not giving it to them.... Usally i say its trolls but people are really upset here.
I am upset.
Not asking to dumb the game down like Blizzard did to Warcraft, just fit the bugs. |

Verone the problem is that CCP has been ignoring the complaints of their userbase for a while now and have yet to admit that a bunch of problems like lag and bugs have developed since dominium. And then to add insult to injury they post a dev blog which i assume was meant to placate us but basically just told us that the game will be like this for at least another 18 months. I personally still love eve and im not going to quit or anything i just wish ccp would pay a bit more attention to the player bases concerns (even something simple as admitting there is a problem and showing that they are doing things to deal with it) |

FW's still crap. A 50 man fight in what's supposed to be a reinforced node(we were expecting more numbers) still lags the crap out of my client. Maybe not as much as for the recent fights in 0.0 granted, but it's still too much. FIFTY? I've seen more CONCORD NPCs in one spot in Niarja on a regular basis, lag free. CCP: let's post a thread and pretend we haven't heard anything the players have said.Players: Rabble rabble rabble, constructive feedback and more rabble!CCP: let's ignore that feedback and pretend we haven't heard anything the players have said, and post another thread detailing another wonderful award we won that means nothing to anybody other than us.So on... so forth... I tried to vote but it took the server 10 minutes to figure out I had arrived on the webpage. Then when I hit the register button, it got stuck so I turned off auto reload on my browser, but that didn't seem to help. Then I figured maybe I'd manually click the heck out of the stop button on my browser so that i could try to hit the vote button again. After 5 minutes that didn't work either so I said screw it and decided not to vote. I would try to close the page and reload it but I don't think I would load before the 11th.
