I understand wanting to squash rumors. It was nice hearing about all that. Cart before the horse? What about this winter 2010? Are Black ops getting their cov op cloaks and some kinda buff? Assault frigates? Rockets...T3 Frigates? Fixing fleet fights? I am looking forward to 2011 but I would also like to hear about winter of 2010. Thanks and grats.

at least spend the 10 minutes to fix rockets and AFs.

Rocket ---> 85/20
Standard missile 170/50
HAM missile 101/125
Heavy Missile 81/125
Cruise 69/300
Torpedos 71/450

Rocket explosion velocity is 85. This number is incorrect.
Will this be corrected anytime? Is there an estimate on how long?

According to that, to 'fix' rockets you would have to set the explosion velocity around 370 to fit the scale of Torps/Cruise and HAMs/Heavies

I made a redeemer on Test, set it up with a standard T2 fit, T1 crystals. I had a badger locked in under 4 seconds, to 35% armor and cloaked back up before the badger returned a lock. With some tweaks and officer fittings I am sure I could pop a badger or any indy and evaporate back in to the cloak realm before anything but a well fit frigate could get a lock on me. Put 2 or more in a situation, they would be a problem for any system to deal with.

T2 cloak lets you align in cloak and uncloak to spam warp. What they suffer from is no tank but that covers alot of ships and alot that are far more vulnerable than a black Ops.

They really are more of a hard to play ship than a nerfed one. That and they cost too damn much in a game where all ships are throw away once you undock.

Its bizarre and inexplicable that the haven't fixed rocket explosion speed yet when there is obviously a giant glaring error winking at you and calling your mother a *****.Rockets would be an easy fix, it seems CCP doesn't want to fix them...perhaps they should care more and work harder.

If CCP says it hasn't been fixed this because they have rigorous testing and balancing procedures then I say perhaps those procedures are too cumbersome and immobile? Perhaps they lack the agility needed for service development...

CCP has confirmed on many occasions that missiles cause lag because they are for all intents and purposes a ship in the eyes of the server unlike a simple damage calculation in the case of guns. So go figure why they haven't fixed them yet especially with rockets high refire rate. ugh

Back before we had drone bandwidth, a ship's drone bay size was the only limit to the size and kind of drones you could field.
The Thorax had an obvious typo in its ship stats which allowed it to field a full flight of heavy drones.

That glaring bug took a long time to fix.

I want all types of modules and all types of ships to have a use in the game. And I do believe they'll get around to rockets eventually. Look at how they fixed MWDs vs. afterburners and before that neuts and nosferatus.
