Music off, while streaming grooveshark. Sound on. I kind of like knowing that I just went from 100% shields, armor and structure to 30% structure from a long range salvo of a Rokh sniping a gate. Gives me time to eject  |

I would love to play with sound but it's not really an option with all the bugs and other problems in the sound system.

This is why I stopped using it to years ago. Has anyone confirmed the source of the problem? Sound was buggy 7 years ago. Sad to see they haven't fixed the problem. |

There are a bunch of references to uncloaking making a sound in eve chronicles, so I assume that that might give you an extra second to frantically hit warp when all the stealth bombers uncloak. But yeah, I dunno, I don't even wear the headphones most times. |

I got world sound/music turned off.
Only keep it on for the alarms.
I would'nt have lost several ships to complete inattention if I had those audio ques. |

I only play eve with sound when i do pvp. Those people who pvp without sound are those that like big lagbattles ...err fleetbattles.  |

I do like sound on when im soloing and often music as well, helps me staying concentrated. With a gang the sounds do get messy unfortunately, more annoying than helping or adding immersion. |
