AMARR EMPIRE CONFIDO - Official Announcement

More than a century ago, the Amarr Empire took up arms against the threat of Sansha's Nation. It did so alongside the Navies of all the governments of New Eden, to strike down as one a foe that threatened all. It was an event of unparalleled unity in the cluster, and the Nation fell swiftly under the combined might of the Empires. Such cooperation showed what humanity as a whole could achieve.

Five years ago, Amarr faced a dark shadow of it's past, declaring total war against The Blood Raider Coveneant, who had targeted not our military, but scores of innocent civilians. To ensure victory, the Empire called upon a new weapon, a force that spearheaded the fight...her loyal capsuleers. Working as one, the loyalists and the Amarr Navy were able to place a crushing blow upon the Covenant, driving them from Amarrian borders permanently. This victory was a sign of things to come.

Today, we face an old foe. The Nation has spent the last hundred years re-building in the darkness, it's appetite for revenge encompassing all life in the cluster. It has devastating technology at it's disposal, weapons of Mass Destruction that threaten every single soul in New Eden.

The Empire has awoken. The Great Golden Fleets have been mobilized. Amarr stands ready to lay her strength on the line in defense of all, not just Imperial Subjects.

Her loyal Capsuleers stand ready as well, as they have in the past.

The Amarr Empire Confido are a league of loyalist capsuleer corporations who have been fighting Her Majesty's Imperial Crusade in the Bleak Lands and Heimatar for years. They are battle-hardened, their loyalties proven beyond any question, their duty clear.

We of the Confido stand ready now. The Empire has a great task ahead of her, and the stakes have never been so high. Her Capsuleers are the undying spear, the force that can ensure a victory.

To the forces of The Most Holy Empire, we say this:
We stand ready.
For the Empire.
For New Eden.
For all of God's Creation.

Give the Word.

It has been long enough that the capsuleers of the Empire have been disjointed in their response to this threat, which may be one of the greatest we have faced. What has been done is surely only the beginning, and all of humanity is at stake in the conflict, not just our own people.

I encourage all others loyal to the Empress, King, Govenor of the Mandate and the Lord Himself to delcare themselves and join with us when the inevitable calls to arms arise. Thank you to those brave and noble souls who have and shall.

Since we're operating out of Khanid space, we'll support and help the Empire as needed...

We're just curious if losing 900,000 people in Antem was some ploy to lull the Nation into a false sense of security? Because really, that's just shamefull.

Tell me, Amarrians, is this an exclusive club?

The Valklear Guard is willing to put behind all our differences in the face of a greater threat, not for your god or your empire, but for all of Human Kind.

Or obvious reasons, direct cooperation will bring the unavoidable casualties, but sharing intel about the Sansha incursions and the promise of prioritizing the destruction of Sansha vessels before that of the militias is a workable deal.

what say you, confido?

The Confido is an exclusive group.

There are plenty of places available to receive and act on Nation related intel.

We are standing with the Amarr Navy. Should they have plans and information outside of general knowledge, then it will stay that way unless the Navy deems otherwise. This shouldn't come as any shocking surprise.

I don't believe Neu to have been looking solely for intel, but for a temporary NAP when dealing with the Sansha threat. It's unfortunate that 'The Confido' would deny such an opportunity for assistance; may God bless you with His graces that you don't have to suffer for such arrogance.

We have orders that currently do not allow such a action to take place. Should the Empire alter those and provide a reprieve from our current position, allowing a alliance of sorts with our current enemies to defeat the Sansha(should that be required), we would take that into consideration. For the time being, it is simply not a option.

Not an option? Are you so blind to only see that which the militia distinguishes? Think for yourself, man. If you see the Sansha as a real threat, then allow for diplomacy.

If not, then why announce such activities? You will surely be unable to fight more than four titans, carriers, and support alone. If you wish to see yourself as the harbinger of death, then so-be-it, but when Amarrians die and you have nobody to blame but yourself, perhaps you will reconsider?

You imply the Minmatar militia to be a threat, yet you are on the offensive. How can you lie about such things while claiming the Amarr people as your main interest? This is ridiculous; allow diplomacy or face the threat alone. When Amarrians perish, they will only have you to blame. Should you want this to be the case after the Mekhios concert, then you will weep what you sow.

Yes, the Republic and its militia are a threat. If we were to just ignore them, they would capture many Amarrian systems.

My view is that if there is to be a ceasefire between the Empire and the Republic, then it's up to the respective governments to negotiate it - not their capsuleers.

You're a fool. You cannot act on your own, so why even announce such a thing as a "Confido" if you are inept to serve your people? Amarrians deserve more, yet you give them nothing but words. Such a shame...you will wait by as the Empire stands around with their thumbs up their ass, like they're going to give you any direction, and hope that they tell you what to do? Good luck; Amarrians would be better off joining the Sansha than waiting for your weak attempt to protect them fail miserably.

Firstly, PIE is not a member of Confido.

Secondly, a refusal to co-operate with Minmatar terrorists is not the same as a refusal to deal with the Sansha menace.

You're a bigot. The Minmatar militia may be unjust, but it is not a "terrorist" organization. It's full of fighters no different than the 24th IC; just as many pirates and "terrorists" thrive behind the 24thIC banner as do Minmatar. You're a fool because you do not accept the terms when they are offered; if the Minmatar offered to end this war, would you refuse out of arrogance? Should I come back and take another nine of your systems? You don't seem to have learned anything...

Name calling is not required at this junction Eran. Also, the militia's are capsuleer extensions of their corresponding empires. The minmatar did launch a terrorist attack on Amarr soil. So it is rather difficult for Amarrians to not classify Minmatar and their loyal subjects as terrorists.

Minmatar Militia forces cannot enter Amarrian hi-sec without pursuit by Amarr Navy forces. As such, you have not been present to defend Amarrian citizens from Nation attack.
To declare now that you will not do so, and to blame CONFIDO for this situation is a laughable example of the mechanics of a Tribal mind.

I think there might have been a misunderstanding about the purpose of this post.

It was intended to rally the support of Amarrian loyalists and residents of the Empire specifically to aid in the fast-response to attacks within our territory, especially our high-security space where members of the Minmatar militia would not be able to help anyway. We also wish to gain the eye of officials within the Imperial Navy so that we may offer our aid directly to them where and when it is needed. We are particularly concerned with the security of the upcoming Sarum Symphony and wish to offer our aid in those operations if possible. As it is being held in Sarum Prime, once again, the Minmatar militia can be of no help.

In no way was this an attempt to open diplomatic relations across the lines of war to that end. While the offer is appreciated, we cannot expect the Minmatar Militia to aid our Empire in such a direct and demanding way. As for Neu Bastian's supposed offer for a non-aggression pact for the whole Confido when Sansha are actively operating, I do not believe it is possible to negotiate. As the representative of the Knighthood of the Merciful Crown, I fully recognize the Sansha as a greater and more loathsome threat than the Tribal Liberation Force, and I will personally always pick a Sansha target over a Matari one. However, beyond this I do not think anything else can be said. I am pained to tell you that Matari and Gallente pilots have fired upon me and my own when we have attempted to help your systems from Sansha onslaughts, just as we have at yours. Whether or not this was done out of malice of because we were perceived as honest threats at the time I cannot judge, but the fact remains that seeing a hostile on the field during such a stressful time will almost always lead to the inevitability of it being shot. The practicality of setting up a complicated system of rules of engagement for our sides is questionable at best, and I believe it simply is not feasible at this time.

Now, for Mr. Bastian's suggestion we share intelligence concerning the Sansha, once again we cannot help here even if we agreed to. The Confido is dedicating itself to the response of a Sansha attack when it happens, not the gathering of information concerning the threat. If you wish to become involved with operations concerning that, I suggest you contact Julianus Soter, who has thus far been acting as a kind of central authority on the crisis, and been leading the combined cluster-wide resistance. He would be more useful in this respect than us.

Thank you again for your offer, and I see it as a hopeful sign that our two peoples may one day be at peace. Unfortunately, now is not the time it would seem.

Pilot Graelyn

Why resort to insults? Not only of Neu but of all our people? What you say is laughable. I had just left the militia (and have been kill-on-sight since well before my first stint in the TLF) and it didn't stop me from laying the final blow on Slave Tama's nightmare in Antem. The truth is, the Minmatar Militia spend most of their time in Amarr low sec, and certainly aren't afraid of flying through High sec either, despite those silly...erm threatening warnings issued every time we enter a new system. I wasn't the only Minmatar fighting for your people that day.

That said, you have proved your own point. There are small minds on both sides that will see this as a chance to achieve a victory that will never be allowed by CONCORD anyway. Instead of fighting a common threat, they will continue in their petty jealousies and patterned behaviour. And you all wonder why Eran gets so worked up?

Aldrith...I'm surprised to see you won't share intel. You have flown beside me against them...you are...*sighs* I am surprised is all.

Really we should simply drop this line of thought; we are at war and it is understandable that cooperation between declared enemies would be difficult. We should drop the hard feelings and get on with our duties rather than complaining about how unreliable or closed-minded the other side is.

As for intelligence, it is not that we are refusing to offer it, it is that in all honesty we have little to offer. Our intelligence comes from Julianus Soter and his circle. What he tells us he would also surely tell you if he trusts you enough.

I also cannot speak for the whole Confido. I hold no reservations concerning cooperation with certain Matari, but the Confido is a mixed group of staunch Amarr loyalists. If they decided something as a group I stand with them, as I stand with my Empire should it judge someone an enemy unworthy of trust. If you wish to approach me or the Knighthood individually, that is a different story.

My fellow Confido commander Shutaq of the Knighthood is sometimes to kind in his words in my perspective. I do not appreciate the offer of the Valklear Guard at all as I consider it an insult to the Amarr Empire and all the Amarr loyalist crewmen that did perish under their rage of fire. The Valklear Guard alone killed in their war rage against the Amarr Empire till now 5 times more Amarr loyal people then the Sansha’s have, with all the crewman that did perish on the ships they conscious destroyed, not even speaking about the Amarr solar systems they occupied and the crimes they conducted in that time in these systems. So, don’t think that with making a publication in relation to the Sansha treat, that we have lost our eyes on the greatest war monger and killers of Amarr loyalists lives, the Minmatar Empire and their institutions like the Minmatar Militia. We will bring you the light of the Lord and you will be brought to justice.

As will Kuvakei for his crimes against all the innocent Amarrian people, especially the woman and children, his forces abducted from our planets. Confido united the Amarr loyalist forces in the war against the Minmatar Militia, we are again making that effort against the Sansha forces. We will stand beside the Imperial Navy and call for those Amarr loyalist organizations who want to join us in this effort.

I have not received any data from the Imperial Navy to collaborate with the enemy against a threat of Sansha's Nation and I will never receive any data from the Imperial Navy to collaborate with the enemy against a threat of Sansha's Nation.
The Imperial Navy is an military unit, as the Praetorian Guard is, and politics is not a option for these units.
There will be olny one way, the way of devastated ships, surrounded by vaporized corpuses, corpuses from the Minmatar and Sanshas crewmans!
