A while ago i thought i would share my fitting for my plex running maelstrom on battleclinic, as i thought it was a good fit, and i wanted feedback - i spent a while refining this fit, and the finished product looked like this [Maelstrom, Maelstrom: 0.0 plex runner Tanks like mad] Capacitor Power Relay II Capacitor Power Relay II Capacitor Power Relay II Capacitor Power Relay II Capacitor Power Relay II Ballistic Deflection Field II Ballistic Deflection Field II Ballistic Deflection Field II Heat Dissipation Field II Dread Guristas X-Large Shield Booster Shield Boost Amplifier II 1400mm Howitzer Artillery II 1400mm Howitzer Artillery II 1400mm Howitzer Artillery II 1400mm Howitzer Artillery II 1400mm Howitzer Artillery II 1400mm Howitzer Artillery II 1400mm Howitzer Artillery II Prototype Cloaking Device I Large Capacitor Control Circuit I Large Capacitor Control Circuit I Large Capacitor Control Circuit I Vespa II It stats are as follows Can Tank (against guristas) a whopping 1294 cap stable - which is enough for anything with just guristas in it! Dps isnt too high at 412, (457 with faction ammo) the key is that its cap stable, which is needed in my opinion it was made to run guristas plex's in 0.0 when my corp mates were busy with other things - or i felt like making some isk Now the entire BC community went mad about this claiming it was rubbish due to CPR's Now......Since people cant give me a reason whats wrong with it...... can you better it? (without a massive cost increase!) It is tanking sites such as piths penal/prov HQ - and the escalations etc

OMG. please... damage mods. something. artillery is probabaly a waste compared to large ac's but thats just my opinion. grats you can tank something that a t1 cruiser can handle, while managing somehow to do less damage than one... i agree with the "gb2drake" comment unless you're willing to put some real thought into your mods.

israus Minmatar	Posted - 2010.06.29 22:10:00 - [11] you don't say what type of sites your looking to do but if its normal sanctums and havens you've got about 700 more tank then you need. your DPS sucks so your income will be **** poor. and with the low sensor strength and nerfed scan res cause of that cloak your going to spend most of your time jammed or trying to relock after being jammed in those sites.

If you go overboard on an 800M A-Type booster it tanks 1100 or so. And all of this dealing a f*ckload more damage than your fit of course. I'm currently using a downgraded version with 1200's and a C-Type and it works wonders, give it a try if you want and you'll see.

People that think you have to make the most ISK/hour to succeed are silly. For one thing a lot of us are older with a family. If you have a family you may have to go afk at any given time. If you have a job where you work from home you might have to go afk spontaneously. Or if you have a woman/man in your life. That being said too much tank in place of DPS is going to be a waste of time. If you can get 1k tank you should be fine and use the other slots for DPS

If you do real plexes with this, not anomalies, you need a hauler alt to resupply your cap boosters. Same for comments about dps tank, that works fine in lvl 4s, and already less in sanctums. (They just respawn). In the high plexes there is way too much dps incoming to be able to dps tank. If you can use drones a passive ishtar will easily get very good tank, not that much more dps but it will not be affected by jamming which is really handy. Or with drone skills but no gall cruiser 5 a gila. Rattler of course also option. For maelstrom it mainly depends on how much you want to spend on it, and which sites exactly you do. Quite a difference between a 6/10 and 10/10.

All the setups people are posting are for PVE, you can use them for missioning or running plexes with a few minor tweaks. Of course taking for granted that you would have the common sense to asume that was a big mistake on my part. In the future I will make sure to explain everything clearly, even that which is patently obvious.
