Isn't releasing the name of the player against the EULA? It is personal information.

I'm pretty sure you're correct, but then the guy is dead so I don't think he'll mind too much.

His family might.

Now while the intention of the post is noble; it cannot be ignored that there are some real ****s out there. Some of which who may not agree that a U.S. soldier dying in an American war is such a bad thing.

So for the sake of his family, I suggest removing that link. It's unnecessary, most of us do not need to know his name. Knowing he was an Eve player and his in game name is enough.

*EDIT*

Oh and this post will probably get thrown in OOPE tbh.

My heart goes out to his family. I hope they are comforted by the fact he was serving his country, and I am grateful for his service.

Dont mind the obvious trolls that will be posting in here btw.

Considering this post was made to pay respect to a lost corp friend, the comments on here so far with 2 exceptions which are also paying tribute, and one offering some advice to The Animator, the rest are pretty disrespectful, if you cant advise, or pay your own tribute, then read and move on. And as for the person who said post the killmail?! WTF?! You need your bumps felt and u need to get the hell outta here!

Now to the matter at hand;

Droma, you were a good friend and fellow pilot. You gave your country your all, and for this you are a hero. God Bless you hun, you will be dearly missed by all whose lives you touched. x Rest well, dear friend. x

Disrespecting people over a game is fine.
Disrespecting those that gave their lives serving their country is not.

War is one of the worse practices of the human race, yet warriors are some of the best people... because they are willing to sacrifice everything for what they believe in.

It is great regret that those who paid the ultimate price be trodded on by those who are selfesh and don't have a heart. It is after all a human life layed down for us to say what we want to say, but being disrespectful truly shows who you are. Our prayers and sorrows are for Droma Njo and his family and friends. Live on with God may his arms enfold you.

My condolences for the loss of your friend.

Some people in this thread apparently don't realize that this thread is NOT about...

... them, or their opinion about war and the people that fight them.
... the philosophical differences between a "hero" or a "terrorist".
... how the man died, where the man died, or what kind of man he was in life.

This thread IS about people expressing sadness over the fact that a friend has died, someone they may very well have spoken with on a nightly basis... and other people expressing their sympathy or simply paying their respects on the passing of a fellow hobbyist.

Airing your personal philosophy is best reserved for another thread, one of your own making.

Well we could link his facebook and the official report of his death to you, but this is not about us proving who he was... We know who he was and he died, fighting for a country and people he loved, and believed in regardless of what you think of the conflict. This is something any man or women can respect.

I pray to god i am never as broken as you are show some humanity and some respect.

My condolences.

Some people in this thread got some growing up to do, and i don't mean it condasending, but you need to experince how it is to lose someone close to you. When that happens, look at what you are writing now, think the same about the person you lost and see if it's still funny.
