I suggest oh some system where fights occuur, maybe some interesting populated W-Space, maybe a wormhole thats active or something, anything but trade hubs, those have been done.

In Britain, we used to have a tv show called "Noel's House party". In it there was a section called NTV which basically involved the show setting up hidden cameras in some poor sods house.
At an opportune moment, Noel would suddenly switch to them and they would then be broadcast live to the nation. Of course he never did it when they were just sitting, picking a suitably embaressing moment.
Anyway, background out the way, why not simply "hook" a camera to a random joe and then broadcast them as they go about there business. Obviously some people will be more entertaining, but even a boring shot could become interesting if someone wanted their 10 seconds of fame by suiciding the person on tv.
Even the most mundane of shots could be turned into comedy gold with the correct commentators. (aka Jita paint scheme) |

Ok here is an idea.
Mission-CAM.
Pick a random Marauder or faction battleship in highsec.
To narrow it down, pick one in space and with a mission in the journal.
Check if it is in deadspace.
Switch to it, but make sure to blind out name and location.
Then lets play "Name that mission". Once someone gets it right, announce it on screen and switch to another one (picking randomly from jita/amarr/rens/doodixie if another has not been prepped yet).
Another idea, if possible do the same for complexes, except there the ship range is much larger. Name that plex/anomaly +DED rating. |

Or we could get evil..... pick random newbs in Arnon, who are on the last few missions in the epic arc. Such as: The one with the BC The Dagan fight Burning down the hive. and have vote on whether they make it or not (e.g. in the Eve Radio channel) and run a updated votecount on screen (surely you can run something that scans chat for a preset votestring)  |
