Would love to see some form of random officer spawns in C4+ anoms in wormhole space. Yes, it'd make a lucrative profession even more lucrative, but still. . I'm an ISK *****. Sleeper mods better than that of officer drops from nullsec? Yes please! |

Perhaps some special drops that can be reverse engineered into T3 equipment. Direct module/BPC drops that are readily compatible with our current ship systems? No thanks. |

Tech 3 mods seem perfectly reasonable, and I'm fairly certain we'll see them sooner or later. However, I'd guess later, only after some more tech 3 ships are implemented.
Some wire crossed in my brain though and from the topic title I thought you meant Sleeper agents handing out missions. Which would be awesome.

While i would LOVE t3 mods, the idea with sleeper agents is creepy. "Some unknown biological lifeforms erected a primitive starbase around the moon on J217221. I need you to destroy and remove said starbase. Leave no survivors but bring samples for biological analysis. Your work will be rewarded with 10 teraflop units and 5 gigawatt power. Now execute your task. You got 20 minutes" |

Yes, I totally agree with that, especially if the missions are given in another random WH system |

"You have two months to find and travel to system JXXXXXX, destroy the complex there and report back Reward - 2,000,000 ISK Bonus reward (5 hours) - 10,000,000,000 ISK +0.2% standing" Would be kinda awesome, but unfortunately I did just mean named officer rats appearing every now and again in standard anoms. |

When I saw the subject, I thought you meant giving Sleeper-type AI to the K-space officer NPCs. I'd love that, actually. |

K-Space officer NPCs should already have the sleeper AI. I can't confirm, having never found one. Not that it really matters, as they don't have the support ships and spawn positions to really make use of that AI to begin with, nor the ship firepower to defend themselves. |

If you were responding to me, I think you may have missed the point. There's no reason to expect that actual Sleeper equipment would ever properly interface with our own equipment without extensive modification. It would fit in better with the way T3 is currently developed to have T3 equipment also a product of reverse engineering Sleeper equipment fragments. |

Yes, a random spawn of sleeper Officer, that drops say, tags for 500mil, with three times the tank of the toughest sleeper, who then calls 15 Guardian BS and assorted smaller ships to aid him as you shoot at him.
If the attacking players corp has a pos in w-space, and you destroy the officer, Sleepers then make an all out assault on your pos in retaliation. Say with 50 Sleeper BS with relative amount of cruisers and frigs.
If your corp does not have a pos in w-space, Sleeper Officer backup on the spot doubles or triples.
You know, so it isn't just a cakewalk, or free isk on top of what you already get.
IOW, OP's idea is ******ed.
But I do so want to see Sleepers put player POS's into reinforced. Living in w-space is too easy. Yes I know, CCP will never do that, but a man can still dream....

Totally disregarding the balance and exploitation issues, some sort of Dynamic sleeper mechanic would be awesome. Sleepers officer leading a fleet against a POS would be fun though I mean stuff like that would add a whole new dimension to be good for many LOL's in wh space |

Yeah sure cos the faction NPC's attack pos in 0.0 all the time right, why should WH space be left alone... |

Wildly innaccurate statement. Admission that wildly inaccurate statement has no evidence. Resignation that entire topic is irrelevant. Your post was the single most content-free thing I have ever read on these forums. |
