This one time I was chilling in Rens and there was this person spaming local saying that there were free rifters at the top station. Sure enough, there was about 20-30 of them just abandoned like babies on a doorstep. Person then said that one of 'em had a 17 mill AB and another was filled with faction ammo. Now I have a pirate AB on my firetale.
Later when I asked her/him why they did it they said, "Because I just made your day." And they had.
Was I offended, did I want 'pay back' for this insult to my wallet's honor, did I want to follow them to the ends of Eve space and back? Nope, I was smiling for the rest of the day.
And even before this happened I'd buy the occasional noob a cruiser so they wouldn't spend the next month in a frigate grinding out 6 mill isk getting bored with the game. Most of the time I've never heard from them again. |

I log on to this alt once a month or so and give out 100 mill in pieces to all the noobs in the noob corp.
Just for the record i have never had 1 person get offended by a un-expected gift of a few mill ISK, some skills books some cruisers basically whatever i have lying around.
Seriously, Your a control freak ****head i am amazed that you have any members at all but i am sure they will wake up quite quickly if you act the way you do here and leave for a corp with a sane CEO. |

Okay- So.. you whine about someone getting an exhumer.. but you take an offer for 1b. Based on the amount of drivel thats been pouring through your keyboard I can only extrapolate two possible conclusions. A- Your feelings got hurt when someone bought your boyfriend a Mining Ship (Which will more than likely get blown to small pieces by pirates anyway) B- Obvious Whining Troll is Obvious. Probably be pretty tough to get any excitement from their 3 members. Learn to read. I am asking for advise on how to deal with a player who is throwing his ISK at a certain corp member, not for opinions on what to do with the ISK. Not everyone is needy. My people can do whatever they want. And so can I. If I desire to get someone shot, because he is throwing around with ISK near my members then it is not for you to judge. I can throw my ISKs at my members, too, but why should I? Better than giving me your opinion about me, tell me what you think about someone who throws his ISKs around. The player would not only receive ISKs, but could get satisfaction from knowing that the donor got shot by a merc, who I hired, for pitying him. Let me get this right. - Random gives your Corp member a gift - You think your Corp member might be offended by being 'pitied' with a gift. - You then somehow think that the way to solve this, is for you to spend money getting the random podded a few times. Call me dense... but if your Corp member would be offended sufficiently to be upset by recieving a gift of a few isk/ship (by reading into it that the person was pitying him), wouldn't he be just as equally upset and offended my you spending a ton of isk to sort his problem out (implying you think he can't handle his own problems - all the more insulting because this time he's being 'pitied' by a friend)? |
