Hi there!

I'm a gallente (that sucks - I know Very Happy) willing to move into a hi-class WH (5 or 6). Due to general Proteus suckage I'm thinking about going interracial, but don't know which race to choose. So my question goes to all the WH-experienced pilots - which ship (Legion, Loki or Tengu) would you recommend for me to start skilling? I've got about 15kk sps and will be a part of a 4-5 tech3 gang. Fits would be appreciated. If you think that's a bad idea and know a better solution, please post it. I'm open to any suggestions.

Sending you an interesting fit for c5/c6 wormholes.

I haven't had any problems being Gallente in C5-6 wormholes. I usually take resist stacked RR domis or megas in... though a couple of times its been Mighty Freaking Close.

Ed: Every time I've done it, I've envied the ammoless nature of lasers though. :| I hear that if you're looking for soloing C3-4 WHs, the Tengu can't be beat.

Ship choice really depends on what RR you have with you.
Ovdiously tengu for shield.
Loki for armour given your choices. (protes is best imo.)

Also, if youre looking to join the biggest and best WH corp, look up CCRES.

Abaddons work like a charm, though that's not much help if you're dead set on using T3 ships.

If you are planning on going tech 3 with everyone fitting RR, then anything but tengu is a bit crazy imo. T3s have a VERY short range on RR. This is fine in a tengu when you can all sit in 1 spot and RR each other. This is not fine in loki/legion/esp proteus when you have to move to many of the targets as its very easy for 1+ people to drift out of range of the others. Keeping in tight formation while moving towards the sleepers = not fun imo. Sleepless Keepers like to orbit at 75km for example.

2 Logi ships + dps boats might be a better way to go for C5 especially if getting everyone in a tengu isn't an option.

Thanks guys, it's been very helpful. So far the tengu fit seems the most interesting, mainly because of its passive shield tank and best dps/range ratio (lvl 5 - 550dps with around 110km of range). However, if you know any other fit (bs, bc or anything) that would do the trick and wouldn't require me to cross-train it - just shoot.

Yeah, that proteus ehp and dps is great, but there's one problem - hybrid blasters range just sucks Very Happy. With sleepers triple webs/scrams you can dream of getting that close. Also turning on a mwd with all those missiles flying around would be crazy imoSmile. But I agree - it's a great ship in terms of pvp surprise buttsexRazz

Could you post your abaddon fit? Amarr BSes do really well in terms on PVE imo tooSmile and I'm not that dead set on t3. I've just been told that t3s are my best option for class 5-6 wspaces.

I'd love to see those fits too.
