Hi everyone,

I always begin recruiting posts by detailing why you should pick my tiny, insignificant corporation over the thousands of other qualified applicants above and below the link you just clicked on. Many of them have 0.0 space, mineral buyback programs, free ships, and other goodies. Some people are into that sort of thing. I know I once was. But what all too often happens is that you enter, and at first, it's paradise. Tons of ISK, ships, and PVP. But slowly, the lag sets in, your CEO demands that you show up for every op, and gets mad if you don't. We forget that EVE is in fact, a game, and that the only reason to play is for fun.

So, I created Yaoi Corp with the intention of sampling all the fun things that EVE has to offer. It is an informal, casual corp that is focused on pure PVP. We do have ambitions to eventually hold space to see if that is what we like, but once again everything is focused on fun, and if it's not fun, we probably won't do it.

Currently, we have 2 empire wardecs running, but I have allies in NPC 0.0 and we'll probably move there once we tire of Empire. I run ops to 0.0 frequently, and being a former resident and CEO of a 0.0 corporation, I know the basics of PVP. In terms of recruiting, I really don't care how many skillpoints you have; it's all about attitude. Everyone in Yaoi is and will be friendly and helpful, and if you're willing to learn I'd be honored to take you.

Keep in mind that I am a student, and real life is ALWAYS more important. I won't be on all the time, and although Yaoi is very team-oriented, you should not get constantly bored if there isn't an FC, director, or CEO online. There are times where I might be away for weeks.

I also don't care about corp history or where you've been. As for the near future, Yaoi won't have any communal assets so I do not mind if you are a spy or an alt. The only focus is being good at what we do and having fun. I have written up a quick charter to hit all the points in what I want Yaoi to be, and that can be found below.
