Since the exploit is fixed now does someone mind explaining me how that donkey...I mean Monkeysphere achieved the hide-in-local trick?

So. Proof. Everyone knows is not a proof.

ironically (and you and altcity's argument aside), this is the exact case against monkey. "everyone knows he's guilty" is the proof apparently.

also, apparently "everyone knows" he is banned now too Laughing

In this case I have read several reports and looked at killmails, which looked quite fishy given short timeframe of their generation. So its not "everyone knows" case, its "study, compare and make decision" case.

i see. so "everyone knows" is obviously not proof
however
"you know" is undeniable evidence.

A "Hotfix" and that is it?Shocked

60 Pages of rampage and you hotfix it? What happens to Monkeydude along with his cheating allies from PL? What about the russian (or non russian) macroers?

I want to see the banhammer swing on a "Unholy Monkey-PL-Macroers Rage" action.

Well it might be a bit too early to tell, but the massive amount on trolling the last 59 pages exhausted me a bit. Needed me several afternoons at work to get through. Harder then work though.

Let it deliver.
Question: Is monkey guilty?
Question: Is (parts of) PL guilty?
No question about macroers, we all know.

Okey, hey! Great, they fixed the local spoofing exploit hole.

Now... let's get those macros dealt with!

You know full well CCP won't comment on actions (to be) taken against other players. Should Monkeyboy get banned, we'll find out soon enough when his kill stats drop to zero.

"Everyone" or so called "common knowledge" should be avoided like fire since its often source of misconceptions.

Don't be silly, he's still got an entire arsenal of hacks at his disposal.

Look at the list of charges brought about by his Russian accusers:

1) No Local Hack (dealt with)

2) Warp to 0 on any ship

3) Teleport anywhere in EVE

4) See all cloaked ships

I'd say, with a weapons cache like that backing him up, he'll be just fine.

0.0 has always been carebear haven. Ever since I went from low sec to 0.0 everyoen I met was (well 90%) was carebears mining or ratting.

Since they are cearbears, they blob as a tactic :).

A few notable exeptions of course, but all the big allainces are carebears. Even so they got huge numbers and will blob you to death if you go against them, so being carebear does not make them harmless.

It would have been fine if EVERYONE would have had the ability to disappear from local. Not just him. Its the fact that he creates unfair advantages for himself.

Ok.. so the "invisible in local" exploit method did exist and is now resolved.

What about the ""teleport anyplace" claim? This was real?

"What the Hell is the Monkeysphere?"

First, picture a monkey. A monkey dressed like a little pirate, if that helps you. We'll call him Slappy.

Imagine you have Slappy as a pet. Imagine a personality for him. Maybe you and he have little pirate monkey adventures and maybe even join up to fight crime. Think how sad you'd be if Slappy died.

Now, imagine you get four more monkeys. We'll call them Tito, Bubbles, Marcel and ****Tosser. Imagine personalities for each of them now. Maybe one is aggressive, one is affectionate, one is quiet, the other just throws **** all the time. But they're all your personal monkey friends.

Now imagine a hundred monkeys.

Not so easy now, is it? So how many monkeys would you have to own before you couldn't remember their names? At what point, in your mind, do your beloved pets become just a faceless sea of monkey? Even though each one is every bit the monkey Slappy was, there's a certain point where you will no longer really care if one of them dies.

So how many monkeys would it take before you stopped caring?

That's not a rhetorical question. We actually know the number.

I think that should be enough to end this thread.
