This is still pretty amusing to me, thanks for the read. More people should write about what they do in New Eden. Some people might not care but it's what's happening in game so why not read about it for giggles.

I let my IC dec drop not because of isk, but I'd rather use the slot for an alliance that will actually shoot back. Way to win, I guess.

At least he has a tiny bit of sense. Very, very tiny bit.

Cmon Joe, you could end the suffering against you, if you'd just quit being a moron and step down from CEOship. Hell, we've given you two or three ways of doing it and you'd still be in control. It just amazes me that you wish to continue the abuse against you.

Joe Phoenix needs to be held to account for his actions regardless of the inherent entertainment value of IEEE efforts.

The idea that such egregious stupidity should no longer be investigated and Dealt With™ seems ludicrous. Is integrity subject to entitlement minded whims and fruit-fly*-esque attention spans?

IEEE's indefatigable efforts are an inspiration to many of us.

Now if IEEE could eventually find the time to investigate the efforts of the Rancer Defence League.....

*Kudos and apologies to the one who recently employed this rhetorical gem on another forum.

i think the investigation needs to be altered from the current aggressive review of joe's corporate practices to methods that could produce actual positive results. we have clear (to the point of being redundant) evidence that he is a poor ceo - i don't need to cite the instances, but what we do not fully understand is why he behaves this way. thus i propose that a full-blown psychological profile of joe be investigated and released to the public.

if we can understand his motivations beyond simply attributing him to being really stupid, perhaps a window of opportunity will present itself, burrowing a way through the dense capsule that is the subject in question.

You must have blocked out all the time he spent in alliance with you... Understandable given the trauma it must have inflicted on your forebrain.

The IEEE does have tinfoil hats for sale...a new item which we are happily bringing to New Eden. If you should get into a conversation with Joe Phoenix, it will protect the delicate tissues of your brain from the blunt force trauma associated with too much exposure.

They have been standard IEEE agent issue for months now, and we believe they are the only thing which is preventing our agents from going absolutely bonkers.

Available in several stylish colors, and with wig coverings should you wish to be covert about protecting your gray matter from over exposure to Joe Phoenix.

Remember..If you are not wearing an IEEE branded tinfoil hat, just whose crappy tinfoil hat are you using to protect your brain?

Ok so the timeline goes:

Joe says something nubish in local or whatever and whoever he says it to comes running to you to investigate.

You being the "leet" investigator that make people do stupid things for giggles(and i admit most were golden) you take on the Joe Phoenix case.

Months go by filled with corp infiltrations, harrasment, war decs or for short "griefing" with the stated idea he should step down.

Joe flips you the bird.

Joe then wises up and heads to providence and continues to be griefed and publicly humiliated by you and your e-frinds. During that time Joe musters the money to form an alliance despite all the torment you have given him.

He then goes on to explore w-space and set up his first pos.

You on the other hand get a fail ceo that robs you and kicks half the corp.

Now I ask you to look at this situation from outside your box and ask yourself, whose really the fail one?

Well, if IEEE wants to keep going with the investigation, it's their right, right? I won't pretend I understand the motivation to pursue it for so long, but I don't understand a lot of people's motivations for this game. I mean, look at the goons ffs..

That said, I agree as a forum saga (as distinct from a thing people might want to do in game) it feels like it's lost its novelty value a bit.

Isnt a story isnt it? As a story it doesnt have anymore comprehension then whatever the reader interpets it to be. But im sure you have a witty one liner for that too so i digress. He can do whatever he wants but in the end Joe has an alliance and is making his way despite the odds stacked against him.

I took away from this that no matter how much epeen you swing or how much bigger your guns are nothing stops the human drive and spirit. is he a ***hat? no doubt. But a stubborn dedicated one. I hope you waste your time griefing him until the servers shutsdown because thats your right. Its also his right to tell you where to go.

If memory serves he was going to manufacture capitals for HYDRA RELOADED's cap fleet with which they were going to invade Delve. Being the rear admiral of said fleet it only made sense for him to build it, no?

For a real laugh, hit up his personal wallet and check out his trading activities. The last time I got a peek he was clearing a whole 50 mil a week or so. (Might have been an off week)

I forgot to post a well done earlier.. My only regret is that I didn't have anything to do with this and didn't know about it before hand.. Well, im assuming my previous donations to the IEEE via Joes wallet didn't play a big part in this.. (I'd love to know how much it ticks him off that his own isk is paying for the wardec)

Damien's post, while crudely worded, was spot on. Go read the OP. Here, let me highlight some relevant bits from it:
