Sader Rykane Amarr The Dark Space Initiative Revival Of The Talocan Empire |

After a failed merger with a larger, less experienced wormhole corporation I find myself back in control of my corporation.
Let me just cut the bull****.
Midnight Sentinels is a small, close knit group of friends most of which know each other in real life. We are a wormhole corporation and have been actively living and exploring w-space since our creation.
We are looking for pilots between 6 and 16 million SP. You do not have to know anything about wormholes but you do need to be able to field a battle cruiser and at most a battleship. The ability to use scan probes is also mandatory.
As I said before, there's no bull****ting here.
We are not always active.
We as a corp are not structured, you're not expected to be on at X time for X amount of hours. Corporation operations are not planned weeks in advance, when we feel like going into a wormhole we just go, and may end up in there for weeks or even months.
You are expected to be self sufficient. Joining Midnight Sentinels will probably not make you rich, our operations do not provide a steady income.
We as a corp have a lot of experience roaming and living in wormholes, and have learned a lot of things the hard way. We go to wormholes to have fun and to make some decent isk while doing it.
We do not go to wormholes to get rich and make billions, we go to wormholes as a change of pace from missioning and to get out of empire space.
Midnight Sentinels has an operational budget of 1 billion isk. What this means is that when the corporation wallet hits 1 billion isk, or at least enough to cover fuel costs and some ship replacements (only for wormhole related losses) I shut taxes off.
Why 1 billion isk? Because fuel isn't that expensive.
What do we provide?
A group of down to earth guys who play Eve for fun, and not as a second job.
A relaxed environment where you can do what you want, when you want without too many corp obligations.
0% taxes most of the time.
Fellow Eve players who know how to handle themselves in a wormhole.
What we want from you:
A sense of humor and the ability to use ventrilo. Being able to speak in vent isn't mandatory, however it doesn't hurt your chances of being accepted.
I want carebears with teeth, I don't expect PvP allstars but you need to be able to atleast understand your ship well enough to not die in W-space when a hostile so much as looks at you.
If kill-mails matter to you, I don't want you. As a corp we have regularly gotten into combat situations where I have my team disengage even when a kill mail is assured. We're not saints, but we're also do not actively pirate. This however doesn't mean we do not go out for our occasional low security PvP romps.
I'm well aware this isn't the prettiest recruitment post, but that's because we don't normally recruit. If by chance this sounds at all appealing to you send me an Eve mail so we can get in contact.
We are currently only looking for East-West Coast United States players.

Edited by: Valeo Apodidae on 22/02/2010 16:58:57 As he said. We are not always the most active. Normally people are on every day. But every once in a while other priorities take precedent.
Normally our wormhole ops are planned(to an extent) but still seem very spontaneous. For example we'll decide on a Monday that we need to get back into W-Space. We'll agree that we plan to move in on Friday. Then someone goes out scanning on Tuesday and finds a fresh D845 in a secluded system near our HQ that leads into a C3 with 50 sites. It's hard to pass up an opportunity like that. So naturally we scramble and move as many of us into the WH to set up a tower as fast as possible. If you don't know what the designation D845 means or are not willing to Google it to find out, you need not apply.
We are very efficient and will clear a C3 in just a few days, but that will lead to alot of downtime between sites re-spawning/move out.
We have always been a smaller Corp and it has worked well for us when we did all the operations we have so far. Less splits means more Isk per player. With the group we've got, we've only managed to complete Class 3's and a few 100% Class 4 sites. We are looking for smart players with goals similar to ours. We want to move into higher level WH's and be as efficient as possible without taking unnecessary risks.
We are primarily Armor Tankers, but we've managed to accommodate a couple of shield tank pilots with some unconventional methods even into our C4 adventures. Remote Rep's are mandatory on all ships, and It is also regular for us to drop a 2nd gun in order to circle cap.
We've been pretty successful so far and managed to only lose a single Drake to sleepers in our MANY operations.
If you think you could fit into our group, you can fly what we require, and you get into vent and not annoy anyone in the first couple minutes go ahead and contact Sader. |

Mind you I am a cross trainer that has no real long term goal in mind, just kinda what ever I am in the mood for that moment in time, don't worry in 2 seconds I will be back to training something else again. Oh yea and I am a HORRIBLE probe scanner v.v Add:I will be a better sales person. WTS my body, 500mill Isk Add2:I went back and read their posts, and they really are horrible sales people. We do make a decent amount of money (highly efficient for the amount of time we spend) when we do go into WHoles. We are just not the kind of corp that will be in WHole space, for 15+ hours a day clearing WHole after WHole to make untold billions of isk. |

Waltari currently holds our "Resident Baddy" title. Anyone who feels that they can wrest this title from him... should probably not apply. |

Ran a class 3 WH with the guys the other day, got excited, had too many beers, fell asleep at some site #20 or so.
Believe it or not, these guys were warping me around and protecting/repping whenever necessary for an hour or more, and, the next day, my wallet blinked... To my excitement, I find enough money from the last night's cut to buy myself a Command Ship.
It may have been "beginner's luck", but I plan to stick to these guys and just have plain fun with no strings attached.

Those sales pitches are terrible.
We're supposed to find out AFTER we join that you're not always active, not before!!! |

I'm not going to promise a bunch of **** only to have 30-40 members apply and then become disgruntled 2 weeks later. What you see here is essentially what you'll get. |
