If I had to pick just one, I'd probably say the AML Caracal. Before it was a common fit I'd get loads of Inty's and AF's with the 'oh look, a caracal...noob' complex. Then again now that its a fairly common set up they're much more wary.

Other wise Torp Ravens and Cerbs are lots of fun, the latter commonly underestimated. Solo rooks are fun but few ships worth attacking are dumb enough to stick around once your on the scanner.

Armor tanked Torp Raven.

Most people laugh at it...
Most people will laugh when they read this...

I will laugh when I get their kill mails.

Blackbird, Falcon, Rook, Scorpion, Kitsune, Griffin. In pretty much that order.
Also, Basilisk, Manticore, Onyx.

Basi. More specifically, a pair of them, or more :D

Tackling falcons also rule. Great way to escalate a fight. Usually ends bad for the tackling falcon though...Laughing

AML caracal without a shadow of a doubt. You'd think frigate pilots would learn.

Drake.

7x HAM II + scourge fury

2x LSE II
2x Invuln II
1x Warp Disrupt II
1x painter, sebo, web, burner, whatever. Another invuln for solo gate camping.

1x BCS II
1x PDU II
2x SPR II

Drones: Whatever you want. Painters work well with this setup. One heavy webber works too. Light ECMs if you might have to run away.

Tanks the gate guns all day long, does *not* need a ton of skills (15mil or so should be enough). With a few cheap hardwirings you can get 450/450 (dps in/out) easy.

This is a bog standard mission fit (except the useless recharger), not a pvp fit.

Umm, yeah. Rolling Eyes

:HAM Drake: A point, a web, a MWD, 7 Heavy Assault Launchers and a 70k EHP tank ftw. I like the Cerb too, but you don't get enough out of it to justify the additional 50 million isk over a Drake hull and dont forget about the crappy T2 insurance payout when it pops.

And still sits at 1000dps...

Like I said, people laugh at it... but last night I kills 2x Brutix, A Domi, and had the Harbringer in structure before I popped... they also had a drake. This was semi solo... I had a buddy there in a rapier holding down targets, but he didnt have a TP.

Don't get me wrong, I really like the drake and do pretty well in solo and small gang pvp with the fit I posted, which is a passive/recharge tank since that's the only kind of tank the drake does well.

But a pvp fit all tank with no gank and no point is... not a pvp fit.

ravens far from suck but ther just underestimated cos if u dont have good missile skills then thers no point, not sure on the armour tanking part (mygirl2) A shield tank is very well and dont forget that large neut either Evil or Very Mad bs vs bs only a couple will beat the raven
