Yes yes i know everyone knows caldari suck at pvp and solo but IF you had to put together the best possible scenario to solo kill ratting BC BS what would it be? Preferrably sub BC.

I really, really think you should check out Kessah's thread. There are plenty of Caldari boats that range from decent to very good at solo PvP. The whole "Caldari, solo, PvP, pick two" stereotype is just stupid.
Other ideas include torp Ravens, blaster Moas (yes, the T-Rax might put out more DPS, but you're more likely to be underestimated in a Moa), the Assault Launcher Caracal (wtf'pwns frigates), and the other fits Kessah's tried out. |

Since the ECM range nerf the Rook is a great solo PVP boat. Like most recons it has the ability to disengage if the fight gets to hectic, but the DPS you can get on a Rook is pretty awesome when you include drones. For solo/small gang PVP I fit the Rook like this....

Depending on whether or not you want some tank you can always drop 2 of the ECM mods for a LSE 2 and an EM Hardener. But I personally feel that the 4 ECM mods are just fine when engaging 2 targets or less. Other options are to drop a BCU for a plate, but I think the Rook is too slow anyways so wht make it slower. |

Link for the lazy people.When you post a link on the forums you can click the world icon with a chain on it, then put in the details you need and it will become a clicky  Not being patronising there i promise, i just thought that you didnt know. As for your fit, its pretty good, however, i really would suggest dropping the web for a Large Shield Extender, just to give you small defence agaisnt hostile drones and the possibility of a break in your jam. Generally though if i fail jamming a target with 2 Multi-spectrum jammers i will over load the final two to hopefully make sure a target is nullified. |

It's a buffer tank, not a passive one, your armor and structure HP is just as valuable (aside from the small shield regen). Always fit a BCU, if you insist on 3 BCU's then go the way of Sidus and buy a grid implant. |
