For your information DEVs did intervene in the so called SOV issues, they changed the POS bashing in to the thing we have now... Blobs all over the place... and this is the idea of CCP to have small alliances enter 0.0 |

So, after 4 days of petioning, and getting no results whatsoever....
NOW, 30 minutes afetr this post, the GM's finally was allowed to FIX the issue.

ok to be fair here.. Expecting CCP to be able to find all the bugs before releasing code is ludicrous. They can not reproduce what 50k untrained monkeys can do to a DB when spread across (what is probably) 30 servers.
More Seriously, they should have drawn a couple of the larger alliances onto the Test server to help them test. Offer each participating alliance a bone for helping, then have them duke it out on SiSi over a small area of space with properly seeded markets.
#1 it would have been fun for all those involved (pvp w/o repercussion)
#2 it would have put the sov system through it's paces.
Instead.. here we are in the production environment doing #2. I'm sure that CCP is working on a fix, and it's probably not going to be rolling back to how it was.

Im not a bat or a rat or a cat Im just a Molle and I live in a hole :) (I hope u herd that song) Im guessing most pettions get sent to people unrealted to the main body of Staff, and most people developing the game are more likly addicted to these forums. (ps theres nothing wrong with living in the ground, I still do it). |

So in Dominion we see:
1) Bugged SBU (fixed now?)
2) Bugged reinforcement timers
3) Bugged anomaly respawns (fixed now?)
4) INSANE lag
Mmmh, looks like a really well tested patch. Especially since at least the first 3 points could be easily tested on Sisi.
Any bets how long it will take to fix that? I say not: before the weekend. |
