Lo guys,
A corp applied to join my Alliance for which i accepted.
This was saturday and 48hrs later they are still waiting to be an Alliance member.
Is this a known issue?
I have petitioned this but ccp will prob take weeks to reply. |

It is not a bug, its standard procedure.
If you are a corp where 50% of the members have a security status of -5.00 and lower, you are considered by CCP as outlaw corporation and therefore have a 1 week acceptence time before letting new corporations into the alliance.
Pirate alliances are formed before they reach the -5.00 limit or, if the alliance is formed, more then half of the corps in the alliance must not have the outlaw status.
No worries, this is a common mistake everyone makes, you just need a character with 5.00 to take over CEO title for a few days till the security reps up and all will be fine again. If you want, I can come over to your corporation and do this for you. Naturally such a favor will cost some isk. So if you would like to commence this deal, please send me an ingame mail. |

lol i dont think this is true. when i first formed my alliance we were all -10.
secondly, the corp who has applied arent outlaws. |

Yes, but different rules applied then and today its a new set of rules CCP implemented. I am surprised to hear you as alliance speaker have no knowledge about it.
But do not despair. I can set it all right for a mere 500m if you make me your corp CEO and let the standings rise in a week. |

He is correct , this is due to a new rule set for alliances. However, I would just tell them to be patent as your sec status will rep up on its own as yours increases as does that of the alliance. No isk needed. ( this is what they Arnt telling you )
So go rat in 0.0 and bring up your sec status and youll be fine. |

If this is the case guys then how can one corp be accepted after 24hrs and another not?
A week ago a corp with neg sec pilots was able to join us.
A corp with positive sec status has been waiting over 70hrs now.
So this does not make sense.
There are no forum posts to support this so called new rule!
