Since this thread is pretty much dead, I will relate a story I once heard in a Philosophy class:

During a lecture the Oxford linguistic philosopher J. L. Austin made the claim that although a double negative in English implies a positive meaning, there is no language in which a double positive implies a negative. From the back of the room, Sidney Morgenbesser could be heard muttering in a loud dismissive tone, "Yeah, yeah."

Haha, this is WIN :D

40bil / 10 = 400mil
40mil / 1 = 40mil

Good enough math for me.

Good enough maybe but still p. bad. SCNR Embarassed

The point of the logs and me mentioning math was for that reason alone, what is 40 billion/10? And to see that nothing is serious in scc-lounge.

I can excuse lech for it because I know he makes a lot of isk and may have been thinking of making more and missed the point but I will not play with all the alts in here that are nameless.

Questionable sum of 9 billion? I did 8, which is linked, why questions of morality when it's obvious it never happened? Next there will be questions about all of scc-lounge being my alts.

For those looking to bid this auction is still open. I will run it and I will be here for the next one with a similar offer and the same strong reputation.

Alts are likely scammers anyway trying to kick down my legit offering so they can launch their deceitful ones with an audit or some other tricky maneuvers like 80% secure and get away with the whole lot. Post with mains if you need to say anything else in here without any proof of your accusations. Stay on topic, the rules still apply to this forum.

Don't say it if you don't mean it. Honestly, what kind of moron pretends to have scammed? In a private convo with a mate, I could get it, it's a joke. But from what I read of that, no one was even talking to you - you just out and out said it.

40bil/10 was where you said '40bil for 10 plexes(sic)', the answer being the individual value (Though the answer is actually 4bil per, not 400mil. I must have been stoned or something) Then you go and admit to only paying 40mil / 1 on the contract - hence, deliberate misrepresentation to obtain a product at less that it's derived value.

I believe it is on topic to discuss the honesty of the character running a bond, in the interest of any possible investor. Your words would have more sense if there were any auction running, it is not even walking (I see no one bidding).

This is Rawblood, if you spent any time in SCC-Lounge when he was on you'd understand that he has the brainpower of a turnip and is immune to logic. Arguing with him is pointless, just let the thread die.

This is slander and you know it, anyone that goes in scc can see I am informed and able to use reason on many topics. Little insecure folks like you are not on topic. Post proof.

I have linked my bond for 8 billion in this thread, which has finished. My honesty is not in question.

As mentioned, your honesty is on topic; specifically my doubt thereof.
Though I will admit, by showing me how not to, you have taught me how to run an auction.

Quick question to anyone who knows anything about the API:
Can a full API key reveal past contracts? If it can, how many?

Well damn. There goes the only hope the OP ever had. Thanks Ji.

EDIT: In regards to the contracts, I apologise to RaWBLooD. Having just gone through his entire completed contract history myself in game. There was never any plex on contract for either purchase or sale. Indeed, the latest contract issued by him was on 2009.02.12, and was for an apotheosis shuttle (dude, do you have a collection of these things or something?). In fact, all bar one of the contracts issued by the OP were for aforementioned, apotheosis shuttles; the exception being the sale of one Osprey BPC back in 07.

Anyone who wishes to argue this claim, is free to search his contract history in game for themselves.
I am not endorsing the OP. I still think he's an as*hole. I still wouldn't give him half an isk if he offered me collateral for it.

I do private contracts for everything unless it takes less effort to get the same result with public ones.

So basically, you're saying you could have scammed, yeah? Oh well, I'm over this. Neither of us are going to get anywhere; you can't prove you didn't scam plex's, no one can prove you did. Enough bullsh*t in my opinion. GL with the auction if you actually are legit, reroll and try again if you aren't.

Out of curiosity, how many Apotheosis' do you have?

While the API would not reveal past contract per se, if the relevant time period was still in range, if you knew which alt/account/API to check, and if there was such a transaction, there would be a Wallet Journal entry to match the described ISK amount, at least.

The last time I researched the issue (and I welcome any update on this topic if the bug has been fixed), the contract history list for people who had completed substantial numbers of contracts was incomplete, leaving out many (but not all) newer contracts. This would mean that the described contract could have taken place even if it's not in that list of completed public contracts. It might have been done by a different pilot. And, of course, as RaWBLooD himself points out, it could have been a private contract anyhow.

IE is still the most commonly used browser, but its share has slipped to something much closer to 70%.

I didn't see a sniper rule in the OP. Maybe people are waiting until right before the auction closes?

I can prove I have been legit since I started. I can't count over 12 though.

There is no sniper rule.

Another month to go, considering opening bids up for January.

It would be starting from the current rate going up to the same amount originally asked for. Bidding over the amount would be a competition between new bidders, but those that invested in November would also get their rates lowered.

While everyone was playing with Hulks and Insurance I was taking advantage of the usual markets. Interest sent. I will be offering private investments at the regular rate as usual but will not expand on this auction.
