It's a good watch.
CCP can you make a lot of these videos downloadable? It's a great way to spread the word of eve w/o having to wait for youtube. Especially the video of Hillmar singing, or the beer being delivered. |

At least they listened to us when we complained about them using Quicktime during AT7... Now they are using VLC and Media player classic!
Good job CCP! |

Add &fmt=18 to the end of the address and it's as HD as possible :) |

Nope, the download file is still the same size ~340MB , which means that the original source IS NOT HD, ie. adding &fmt=18 , does not make it true HD, just a "Fake HD" as youtube player resizes the video. For comparison the Dominion video is True HD and for a 30min filesize you get ~450MB file, extrapolating from that CCP Presents! in True HD should be around 1.5GB file. |

That was rather awesome. Pitty there were no vids with new planets and stars, unless they are still WIP.
Quite a lot to look forward too.

The Dominion presentation contains that, starting roughly 20 minutes in. |

There's a reference that the demo they showed was running on some dev's laptop. However, when you think about it very, very hard, I've never heard anyone to code anything on a game console, so it is rather natural that they have a test running on a PC. Specially, when Xbox is essentially a PC packaged like a game console.
However, the fact that it's dev'd on a PC doesn't mean it'll be published for the PC. |
