Had to hack a file to shut off module sounds, used res.audio modules.bnk, so the audio files may be categorized under res.audio something.
Don't know if this helps, but had to go down a few layers on the client to get to the res. files. |

??? Is it possible to kill certain sounds?  Please tell how, shield hardener effects are horrible. |

Modifying the client is a big No-No though. So doing it could get you in trouble (Infact, without all the files being present the client shouldnt load. Period.) |

Having a VERY LOUD noise that literally drowns out everything else and is incredibly annoying is also a big no-no.  I could swear that shield hardener sound effects also eat up all the sound channels as well, since weapon noises have a tendency to stop playing after a bit... |
