hey im going away for a few days tomorrow my current skill only has 1d12h left to train but i want my character to be training something while im gone, and i dont want to lose the progress on my current skill
any way i can set a new skill to train while im away? |

You never lose progress on a partially trained skill. If you'll be less than 24 hours to go before you leave tomorrow, just wait until there's less than 24 hours to run on your current skill, then queue up something long behind it. If not, then switch to a long skill now. When you come back, you'll still have 1d 12 hours (or whatever was left at the time you switched) to go on the skill you're currently training. The points you've already trained are trained; the only way to lose them is to get pod-killed without an up-to-date clone. You just don't get the benefit of the next skill level until it's fully trained. |

Take your longest <24hr skill and train it, and set your longest skill after, best way to do it. |

Open the skill queue. Select the current skill training and click remove (don't click apply yet). Now pick a skill that is long enough for your break. Add it to the queue and click apply. The skill you were training wil stop at the current SP level and new skill will start. When you are back again you can do the same thing again to resume the current skill. |

OR He could just right click the skill from the char sheet and select train now? |
