Edited by: Lavondyss on 11/10/2004 03:35:36 I am truly disappointed in this turn of events. I understand that the usage of this character page by third party applications is the reason for the eve-online server congestion. I can understand the need to keep the rest of the website running smoothly by disabling this feature, but what I am hoping for is that this feature can be implemented in a way that either denies third party apllications from accessing it or does so without detrimental effects to the bandwith of the rest of the website. I travel for my job and do not always have my laptop handy to log on to the server to check skill progress so I will use whatever computer is handy with a browser to do so via the website feature. In short I rely on this feature and am having a hard time with out it. Any insight or support on this subject would be appreciated. |

Its temporary. Deal with it.
They said they're getting a newer, better server to replace the one which couldn't handle all the 3rd party info requests.
I realize you're inconvenienced, so are all of us... They're working on it. |

If you are so adult as you try to act, then it really can't be any problem to remember the time it takes to train a skill, or to set a long skill training before you go to work. |

Once again I have been thwarted in my cunning attempt at false flattery. Your mind is razor sharp sir, I am humbled. |

The issue of forum load speed and character management is being worked on and addresses. As was recently posted in the EVE News, steps are being taken to return character management as soon as possible. |
