So with the exception of a couple of minor glitches, the carrier comp went off very well. Given the amount of vitriol and hate spewed every time someone lost a square, it was a giant lovey huggy kissy fest... with guns.

So... why not do it again, except up the stakes?

I'm giving away 2 Dreadnaughts, and 2 other ships. The 2 other ships depend on a few factors (number of entries, additional donations from other players to pad the prize pool, etc), and will be given away during the competition, not at the end (more than likely).

No, the Dreadnaught is not fit - It's just the hull. A very expensive hull, no doubt... but you'll have to fit/rig/drone it out yourself. I don't pre fit/rig ships because everyone has a different idea of how a ship should be rigged/fitted. Or you can always just sell it and make a tidy profit. Your choice!

Yes, you read right. I'm going to be giving away 2 Dreadnaughts of the player's choice (i.e. you choose the faction!). This will be happening on 11 September, 2009 with the competition beginning between 0030 & 0100 GMT, ending by 0300 GMT. I'll be playing my Assassin Squares game, with the last 2 standing winning themselves a Dreadnaught!

Same play as always, here's the difference: it'll still be a 10 x 10 grid, but the entry fee is going to be 40 million isk per square, max 4 squares per person. Yes, this is a lot steeper than normal; no, this is not the new weekly price! Here's the difference from the normal show:

Of the 99 squares, 89 will be available for pre-order. 2 Of the remaining 10 squares will be "Prize Squares", which will contain a Ship (not yet known what class, but it won't be a shuttle). If someone in the comp chooses that square, they win the prize and get to pick again. If for some reason I ask the general population to choose a square, and they pick it, they also win the ship, and get to pick again. Everybody wins!

The final 8 squares will be given away by other EVE-Radio DJ's on their respective shows (List will be forthcoming). So even if you might not have the full ISK to buy a square, you might win one! Stay tuned!

If you want to reserve a square - please ONLY do so if you are actually going to show up. I had over 30 squares reserved that ended up being no-shows. I can understand 1-2 people not showing due to a last minute change... but 8-10 people not showing? Not cool.

Same as before, please DO NOT send any ISK for contest entries until i give the All clear. If you want to donate to the prize pool that's fine, just mark your donations as "Dread comp prize pool", and thanks in advance :)
