Every day sammich goes on about us in local, from behind the safety of the docking bay, how we're dishonourable maggots and other such foul names. Without fail the same act happens. Sure we shrug it off. It's only a bit of banter. We're both fairly honourable corps when it comes to e, or are we.
Earlier in the day, sammich convos our ceo, claiming once again we are e-honourless.
CEO X > alexandros was just involved in a 1v1
CEO X > with ather and dishonored it
CEO X > it think that is pretty ****ty coming even from your corp
CEO X > 1v1's are too the death
CEO X > you have honored them in the past but this corp member of yours just dishonored it
CEO X > unless you take measures to fix this we shall let others know
CEO X > now he came back with full armor after repping and ather is at a disadvantage
CEO X > what kind of a corp are you running i thought you atleast would continue to honor 1v1's

CEO X > forget it i'm on some pain pills today
CEO X > i convoed you with wrong info because i'm not paying attention
CEO X > forget it
CEO X > go back to being your gay self
This was just a small example of the questioning of our e-honour that goes on daily. Unfortunately i'm not living in some massive archive where I can store ALL of these hilarious convos. But anyway back on point. Hours after our ehonour being prodded, one lone united member comes into our homesystem in a rokh, who shall remain nameless (MADDOGzors). This pilot was known to be a semi decent guy, who actually pvp'd a bit. So we setup on him and let him just in. As he enters local, he simply proclaims
X > lulz incoming
So we expect a good fight as its a curse and a viator against his hg crystal rokh. We tackle him and shoot him for a bit. Then like Houdini, he's gone. We check local, of course hes not there. Then he is, then he isn't, then he is, then he isn't.
X > why do you think i come here everyday, ive been waiting to do that for like a week
Honestly we weren't expecting is as the only decent thing I can say about United is that they dont do many dishonourable stuff. Oh well, kittens and daisies, what can you do. Our e-honour remains intact, we're still killing your dudes daily, your corp leadership is fail, our guys wont fight us anymore, we own you.
Finally, I'd like to finish on a quote, from a great man, which perfectly sums up the situation.

Meh, logoffski is probably the most spineless thing you can do in this game as a self-proclaimed pvper  Kinda sad to see a corp like the United pull that one off, but judging from my recent shuttle trips through rancer there isnt much left of them anyway. |

If you dislike it, you're helping out by exploiting the hell out of it since there will be a bigger chance of ccp doing something about it eventually
Maybe if you, who shall remain nameless (shigsy), was actually any good at pvp (and pirating for that matter) you wouldn't have to buy isk from illegal sources to fund your pvp.
With that aside, does winning 1v1's mean who's the best pvper? what do you guys think? |

The United is obviously not what it used to be, most of the memebers have left to go back to 0.0
99% of players created before 2008, when they think Rancer they think pirates. Guess who did that? Not you but the united.

Dishonouring a 1vs1, while being a social taboo of some sorts, is not as bad as exploiting bad game mechanics in my opinion.

Thats not fail at all, since the 'ecm nerf' Rooks are the best solo ship in game, if you know how to use them. Sit at a suction bubble 100k behind the gate, have a sensor booster /scram/web/ab and lawl as you instalock/permajam anyhting that lands its very easy to outpace a vaga when hes scrammed/web and unable to web you back :) |
