My corp has a fairly rigorous set of skill requirements for various ships. I LOVE this. What would be really wonderful would be if corporate leadership could define their own groupings of certificates.
Right now the groupings seem to be decided by CCP and they're fine enough. Hull Tanking is still my favorite certificate in the world.
If there was a way for corp-defined certificates and then another permission tab:
[Private] - [Corp] - [Public]
That would be IDEAL, because corps would then have a GREAT measuring stick to determine the capabilities of their members.

I would like to see this, although I prob would not bother with it I think it would be a usefull mechanic for a lot of corps |

It looks like CCP wanted to implement this when certs first came out. Look at the "issued by" field on them and you'll see why.

This is FAR more useful then the extremely rigid and slightly schizophrenic system we currently have.
