Originally by: Patch notes Reverse Engineering will see several improvements. We are increasing the drop rate of Tech 3 datacores, increasing the runs on the blueprints from reverse engineering jobs and increasing the presence of radar sites in wormhole space.
Originally by: CCP Chronotis Is it 3, 9, 9 as was reported earlier on testing subforums (wreck, malfunction, intact)?
Nope, Closer to 3,10,20 for subsystems. Hulls are probably what was being tested in the thread you read.
Well well well... It appears Everyone will own a T3 ship by the end of the year :) I'm also glad I got out of the gas/polymer business and hoarded up hundreds of wreaks while they where cheap! |

IBTL. There's a reason there's a feedback thread. |

Don't get your panties in a not. It's a patch with economic changes and thus warrants a thread in MD. And yes, the way these changes are stacking up we'll be seeing one in every low sec gate camp. Boy, I can't wait. |

How cheap are you expecting them to get then? |

Hulls, about half, maybe even down to a third of previous price (so, around 150-200 mil most likely) after a couple of months. Submodules, the "expensive" ones, maybe even down to less than a quarter (the "unwanted" ones much less relative difference, since they're already barely at material cost)... so, maybe around 45-60 mil each. Total ship cost, in between 400 and 500 mil or thereabouts, once the dust settles.

It went from 3 run BPC on "Intact" unit to 20 runs. Even if the price of the BPCs stay the same price, you're looking at a mass drop in start materials price. However this has an alternate effect as well. As the Supply of BPCs increase and their Run amounts increase almost 10 fold, the demand on other materials like the components increases. These components will become a little more expensive, however, the drop is GAS/Polymer requirements to make a component it might level out. It's hard to know which one will be going up in price, but when the availability of BPCs to MAKE these components skyrockets the supply of materials to make those items will also go up. None the less I'm still holding out that BPCs will be the bottleneck of T3. |

They said hulls will be more akin to 3/9(?7?8?)/9 and subsystems 3/10/20 or thereabouts in obtained runs (for wrecked/malfun/intact).

Just goes to show even when you think you know someone likely knows better than you.
Advanced thanks to SencneS for convincing me to drop my entire polymer stock when I could. |
