Its where you probe out someone elses mission, and salvage their wreaks. As salvage has no owner its 'legal', though she will probably be called all sort of names in local.

The isk is very good for a low sp char.

ninjasalvaging = probing people out doing missions in hi sec and salvaging their wrecks while theyre still doing the mission = big bucks

Buy stuff for X ISK, sell for X+Y ISK (where Y is greater than taxes - usually about 3% total on a buy order plus sell order combo on a character with no skills and no standings).

Exploration is always good, grav sites/radar/etc, good practise for eventually going into Combat probing to find people for you to shoot.

Doing market research, obtaining the blueprints, and doing the producing isn't mindless like mining. Whether she finds it fun or not I don't know, but many people do.'

Ninjasalvaging is probing out missions and salvaging behind the missionrunner. I wrote a guide to this here. You can also go around lower security areas (especially faction warfare areas) in a fast frigate and salvage the wrecks from FW battles. This can be very profitable, as there's often t2 salvage to be had.

scanning is also an option. While most solo exploration work involves shooting stuff, people who do stuff in wormholes are always n need of good probers...as are PVP corps looking for targets.

How would she feel about healing, boosting, or electronic warfare? Or scouting and probing? Those are all roles in combat where you tend to keep your hands clean.

Is she so averse to combat that she doesn't even want to run missions?

BTW, a lot of people say they don't want to PVP but when they are forced to, after the first time they declare it was the greatest fun of their life.

Oh, has anybody mentioned Roleplaying yet? There are a lot of corporations where people talk "in character" and fancy themselves sci-fi adventurers. Look in the recruitment channel maybe.

Recruitment channel is mostly devoid of RP corporations. Forums are better, however an RP specific 'Job Board' can be found here.

This. It meets all of her conditions, and it makes both of you lots of cash without the boredom of industry, mining, or trading. She also doesn't need a lot of skills to run it - just some exploration skills, salvaging, and some sort of fast frigate.

well interesting ideas, ill have to speak to her and ask her if she would like to be a EW girL, im kinda thinking she wont like it because she will be sad if i ended up killing someone and she'll probably say "awww... why did u kill him??" and start to cry.. hehe im jk she would cry but she would probably feel bad, we'll see, if shes not into the whole EW thing, ill tell her to ninja salvage and probe peoples missions, and maybe she'll like the trading or invention idea as well, she plays Sims 3 ALOT, and i want her to experience something similar. Ill have to run it by her and sees wat she says. Or maybe she wonto like the whole idea of EVE, while she plays sims 3 im right next to her playing EVE and she always looks at my screen, and says its soo beautful, but she doesnt get the idea on how to play, she gets confused, so ill have to show her the basic UI.

so we have
-invention
-ninja salvaging
- market/trade..etc
- mining (boring tho)
-probing
..anything else?

Teach her to enjoy fighting. Girls can be vicious in fights once they get the taste of...exploding starships.

exploring wormholes; that's calm, beautiful and interesting. Also mining deadspace (inside a mission) is very picturesque - just clean the place out for her.

i think she would love to explore wormholes!(we both are stargate fanatics Cool) but arent there only tough bad guys in wormholes? or are there some that dont have the Rats in them?

IMO anything that YOU suggest her, especially if you do not know EvE/Her enough to give suggestions without asking first on the forums, will not fit.

Assuming it's true that she does not like to blow things up, there's still a ton of things she could do. Eve is a sandbox. All the suggestions in this thread. Plus several others. What does she like? She could be a recruiter for one or more corps. She could be a journalist/reporter (maybe even for the ISD). She could design logos and signatures. Or maybe she likes to explore the eve universe?

Are you sure she absolutely refuses to shoot things up? She could join the eve university and later stay there as a teacher. Blowing things will become a part of it, but secondary to the tutoring experience.

Are you absolutely, positively, definitively sure she would totally refuse to PvP? Maybe she could learn to PvP, join an enemy corp/ally then come blow YOU up in pieces over and over again. She may actually find this idea interesting.

There aren't any sites in Wormhole space that don't have any rats (except some low-end grav/ladar sites I think). However, the gravimetric sites exist to be mined...the ladar sties can be harvested for gas...and the magnetometric/radar sites, while they have rats guarding them, mainly exist for the goodies inside the cans.

Dunno if she'd like it, but she COULD form a corp, recruit people, and try to make it successful.

There's not much bread-baking or alchemy in EVE (some, but not a lot). If EVE doesn't work out for her, there is always Wizard101, Hello Kitty Online, or Ponystars. Very Happy Failing that there is mining and escort service.

She'd truly miss the best and most interesting part of the game (disclaimer: imo) if she doesn't consider giving PvP a try.

Point her towards the Hellcats public channel ingame. Hellcats are an all-female pirate corp. She could also try contacting their CEO, Mynxee, in game. You and she would never have to worry about her ever growing bored if she ended up going from a Hello Kitty type of gal to a Hellcat. Meow.

Having her spend time chatting with these wonderful ladies may help her understand that blowing up internet spaceships is no more "hurting" people than checkmating someone in a game of chess or kicking their butts in a recreational game of tennis.

It tends not to pay so well. It's more of a hobby than a career.
