Understanding past performance is no indication of future return...

Is the 'price history' table exported/exportable either by itself or via the EVE api?

I see most apps use pending buy/sell orders, but is there anything that measure actual sales data?

I understand that there are also apps that can monitor my own actual sales data by looking at my transactions, but how can I compare this against actual market data? Is there an app that aggregates wallet transactions? It seems that this would require many players using full api and allowing that data to be shared. I can't imagine there being enough trust in the EVE universse to allow this...even with a heartfelt disclaimer that individual-identificaiton data would be stripped.

But since the data seems to exist in the 'price history' table, I was wondering if it's exported/exportable by EVE?

You can export market data, there is a little button somewhere on the market screen and it will export the market log for that particular item. since the price chart is done with a 5 day average you could export the current data and build up a series of graphis removing outliers and simple measure weightings by modal data.

If you build this data across the 20 day average like the market does (or 5 days ) you effectively get a pretty accurate chart of where things are heading.

I see the 'export to file' on the orders screen, which exports pending buy/sell orders. Likewise the 'my orders' and 'corp orders' tab. But nothing on 'Price History.'

There's no way to directly export the data from the history table. There are murmurings of apps that can read the game's cache files to get that information, but I don't know if there's anything concrete there yet.
