As you no doubt have already heard today there continues to be a series of high level meetings in the Imperial city of Dam-Torsad.

These meetings may very well have been prompted in response to this letter.

We hope and pray that all Amarr loyalist will pray for the success of these meetings. In particular, we ask for prayers for:

  • Her Holiness, the Empress Jamyl Sarum;

  • The sovereign Khanid kingdom;

  • Greater unity within the Amarr Empire, and with its loyal allies;

  • The Order of St. Tetrimon;

  • All of the Royal heirs and Holder families;

  • The heir of the House of Khanid and the Holder of the Khanid family; and

  • All new Matari converts

May God guide the Empress! Long live the Amarr Empire!

Indeed, an imposter.

However, lets hope the talks between our King and the Amarr Empire are fruitful.

Rodj, for a man of such faith, you have so little.

(This is the second time you've called me out .. Let's hope, next time you'll ingage the issue rather than the issuer.)

Don't you realize that to undermine the messenger, you undermine the message?

Firstly, the leader of the Khanid Kingdom styles himself as Khanid II, not Khanid ll.

Secondly, Khanid II is of the Amarr bloodline, not the Khanid one.

I saw this news today, so personally I think the idea the Empress and King Khanid 2 are talking, or even that Khanid 2 is back on Amarr prime is very exciting, and mysterious.

This is one of the most exciting things that has happened in a while, since at least the Caldari recaptured their homeworld!

I hope, these high level discussions result in greater glory for the Amarr empire, greater autonomy within the Amarr race (Khanid are Amarr), the healing of the schism that has long divided these two great people and the eventual conversion of all people to bow before God.

Rodj sounds like you don't support greater unity between the Amarr and the Khanid Kingdom, haggling over petty details such as that. Are you saying a True Blooded Amarr can't be a Khanid Holder?

Suits me just fine, to have the Amarr being petty with each other. The longer they remain internally divisive the longer the Matari have to strength their new found unity.

Personally, I can think of more exciting things.

For example, if the Jove were to return, that would be far more exiting than anything the Empress could do with Khanid II.

Of course even pure blooded Amarr would quake in their boots if the Jove returned.

Eh Rodj?

BTW his letter is fairly well written - anyone checked the history on it?

Of course I support unity between the Kingdom and the Empire, what loyal Amarrian wouldn't?

It all depends on the terms on which that unity is acheived.

I wouldn't say that we'd be quaking in our boots should the Jove decide to attack. After all, the earlier fight with them saw just a small proportion of the Imperial Navy involved, and now we also have improved weapons technology.

I'm reminded of my dear great Aunt Gertrude.

A charming and meticulous old lady who tragically marked her ninty-second birthday with a stroke. She has never entirely recovered from the experience, and since that day has taken to frolicking naked in the garden in all weathers, insisting all the while that she is infact the Arch-Duchess Charlemagne of Fenwickshire.

Mother was devastated, she tried everything to try and snap her out of it but alas - we were left no other choice but to find a place for her in a care home in the next district.

Please, everybody, do try to reduce the amount of salt you take with meals.

Of course, it is curious to see the King in the news lately. One can't help but wonder what could be so important not only to take him out of the house, but to Amarr of all places.

I'm we're all watching with great interest.

While the one who originally started this discussion is clearly some sort of impostor or prankster, the idea is a good one. To my eyes, unity between the Empire and the Kingdom cannot be a bad thing.

Agreed.

These events have potential. Shocked

Given the recall of the Amarrian heirs, this story is somewhat interesting, even to non-Amarr.

Looks like the face of New Eden's politics is maturing somewhat.

And so you have ... so you are glad the Jove have been idle in the meanwhile?

There seems to be a few things that need to be cleared up about the Jove/Amarr relationship.

1. The Jove never actively opposed the Amarr Empire. We attacked them. All the Jove did was defend themselves. And there was only one battle.

2. The Jove are few. Even when we had full contact with them we all knew that they we the smallest nation in the cluster. And that they suffer from a sort of disease that has left them sterile. How many are even left?

3. We have grown in power and technology since our last encounter. It is highly likely that they have not improved at all. A decreased population with no outside contact has limited resources. And I would imagine the bulk of those resources are going to find a cure for their disease.

We do not fear them. And we have no reason to fear them. I know those that hate the Empire wish for, more than anything, the Jove to come back and kill us all. But it's not going to happen. They wouldn't even if they could.

As for the issue of King Khanid (the real one) and his meetings...

My prediction is we will soon see a royal wedding between the King and Lady Tash-Murkon.

About the Jove - thanks for that - and yes you are correct. I have studied the history of this elusive race. Even if it was but one battle, however - it was enough to cause the Jove to destroy their own gates .. (or so we believe). I myself, am not no certain that they have been idle. I hear rumour of them having been to the New Eden's gate, in powerful ships.

Though they as a race have cut themselves off, I know where find at least five of their kind in the remainder of our travelled space.

With respect to your theory as to why the King is meeting with the Empress - It rocks! Marriage is a good guess methinks.

I hope I get invited to the wedding.

As much as I am moved by the potential repatriation of the Khanid Kingdom into the Amarr Empire justifying my families' actions during the succession period. The circumstances leading up to it will probably culminate in the most contrived and clichéd story ever told..

It seems like defence of the people and pacification of certain 0.0 regions has left this old veteren tired and somewhat skeptical.

I was disappointed, scope didn't cover this recently. You would think after two days, the Empress and big-wigs would announce something.

Clearly something big is in the works. My bet is on a royal marriage, although not with Jamyl I.

Empress Jamyl I has announced that the Khanid Kingdom has been granted a full seat on the Privy Council.

Very Happy
